All information and resources are on our website. Homework
needs to be completed before class so we can build on it in class.
Read Tips to Navigate Site on our page. Bookmark and explore the
resources that you like. The course will develop based on YOUR
needs. Give me feedback about what you like and dont like. Tell me
what kinds of activities work best for your learning style. Give me
topics for the vocabulary you want, I will figure out the
corresponding grammar.

Starting with When Worlds Collide video. Quick overview of
relevant history. Will explore in more detail parts that effect
Latinos living in the United States. Like all books, Harvest of
Empire, is biased. Use it for my Latinos/Latinas in the US course
at Aurora University. Not perfect, although does a good job with
the big picture and some details. Will supplement book with
studies, articles, original source documents, videos, and
websites.
