• Primary – middle school (junior high) – high school (senior high) – undergraduate
• The progression rate from MS to HS has been above 99 % since the mid 1980s
• The majority of students attend general/academic schools, about 30% attend vocational
schools

Korea Government in Education
1. Park Geun Hye’s administration has shown strong intention to support many education policies and school systems. • Test free semester in middle school in 2014 • Free after-school children's program in elementary school in 2014 • No tuition in high school in 2017
2. Expand governmental support for the Meister and vocational high schools.
3. Ministry of Education supervises 16 regional administration bureaus of education to manage school operations and teachers overseas training project of the regions. • With TIQ Korea’s support, QLD education providers have provided programs to the
education offices of Seoul, Daejeon, Gyeonggi, Jeonbuk, Gyeongnam...out of 16 offices.
