The close ups in this video are mainly focused on the artist. Close ups are often used for the audience understanding, they can sense her emotion through a close up and could maybe relate to the video, it also gives it a full understanding. For example the artist could be singing a really upbeat song but could be heart broken and close ups help identify what she is feeling. Close ups also emphasise the artists beauty and help them become an idol to viewers.

These are mid-close ups, they’re very similar to close ups but not so they’re uncomfortably close. They are shot from the artist shoulders and shows the whole of their head to shoulders. It still shows the importance of the artist but it makes the shot more ‘chilled out’ rather than it being up in your face.

These shots are mid shots, they show the character from the waist up. It shows the subject in detail but also showing its surroundings. It helps set the narrative within the video because you can see clearly what’s in shot and what’s around them. They are also used to develop information/shows a story.
