Cherith Electro-Contaminant Removal System
Important Information:
• System compliant with exsiting Waste Water Treatment Facilities in Established Industries.
• Removes Fats, Oil & Grease, complex Organics, Metal as Oxides, Color, TSS & Colloidal solids, Reduces COD/BOD, breaks emulsions, destroy and removes Bacteria and Viruses
• 50% savings of total operation cost is expected as compared to Chemical treatment
• ECR systems are able to increase flow rates of exsisting Waste Water Treatment Facilities
• ECR treated water quality surpasses all Semi Con, Textile and Oil Industries pre-treatment
• Power consumptions are expected to average 0.5-0.8 kW/m3
• 0.02 kg/m3 for plate consumption which translates to 0.02 kg/m3 of sludge
• ½” >6 Bar Compressed Air of 2kg air minimum is required (scouring every 10mins for 3-4 sec)
• 1” Pipe in water point is required for ease of periodic maintenance
• Internal diffusers for solid lift installed
• System has to be placed on plinth and in well ventilated shelter
• Standard Sacrificial Steel Plates sizes are 600mm X 900mm
• First steel set to be outsourced locally (Minimises Transportation and Delivery dry weight)
• System is most effective with influent at pH 7.5, and should work fine between 6-9 pH
• Influent Screening required at 2mm mesh size
• 2” Sch 80 PVC – Acid supply for unit CIP and tankage
• 4” Sch 80 PVC flange for incoming influent connection
• 6” Sch 80 PVC flange for Gravity Discharge (To Flash Mixer/Clarifier/Sedimentation/Precipitation)

Floc in broth ECR Systems functions via wastewater flowing through bottom up between the plates. This free flow allows access to the reactor chamber which is inspected once a day, and the sacrificial plates could be changed one at a time as they dissolve (75 – 90 days). Because there is NO PRESSURE within the atmospheric reactor chamber, the design is meant for simplicity in operations and maintenance, thus saving on operating consumables.
