Access

42014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

• To gain access, you should submit a Stratos ticket requesting access to the ECM Tracker.

• All eValidate Applications are linked, typically if you have access to one, you will have the same user name and password for other applications.

• A direct link to the ECM Tracker can be found on the FIS NAO Product Engineering, Research & Innovation shareplace site.

Data Origin

52014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

The ECM Tracker date is fueled from a report that is pulled form Galileo and is uploaded dalily by FISI.• This means that if an ECR is created after the upload has been

done, it will not show up in the ECM Tracker until the next upload.

• The ECR filters can be used in coordination with each other or independently. So you can filter by CBU and then program, but you can also just filter by Program. This also applies for the Plants.

• Users looking for a specific ECR, they can enter the number or even just a part of the number in the “Search by ECR field” and the application will then return the ECR or ECRs that match the searched numbers.

ECR Management-Evaluation

102014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

• During the evaluation phase of the ECR, the program team carries out these responsibilities.

• Evaluations are done in Galileo and can be seen below.• Like the ECR details page, it is shown in the

assessment tab.

Connecting ECOs

122014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

In the bottom right of the eco details page, information regarding related changes and any linked ECOs is linked. These are direct links to the ECOs

ECO Management

132014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

By selecting the ECO tab, this navigates the user to the ECO list- similar to the ECR list, the ECO list displays the ECOs in their various stages of progress.

ECO Steps

152014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

Step 1: BOM Update/CreationThe first step occurs completely in Galileo, with the Engineer updating their eBOM and working with the PDM on any colors or variants to ensure the proper structure.

Step 2: BOM Analyst ValidationThe second step occurs outside of Galileo when the 150% eBOM is exported from Galileo and run through a validation file.

Step 3: Eng. FCS ValidationUpon the completion of a successful validation, the PDM analyst send the ECO to the FCS team for their further review.

Step 4: BOM ApprovalOnce approved, the BOM is transferred. This is a time consuming process in which Galileo transfers the mBOM into FCS and the assigned plants through the MCO.

Step 5: Closure Notification

Setting ECO Priority

162014 FIS Presentation – Update 08-2014

FCS Completion Date is a mandatory field that must be completed before any ECO can be promoted to Step 1.
