Callisto Simultaneous Release

Page 25: Eclipse Members’ Meeting

Eclipse Foundation, Inc.

Callisto Simultaneous Release

http://www.eclipse.org/callisto

The projects collectively decided to simultaneously release ten of the major Eclipse projects in June.

BIRT, CDT, DTP, EMF, GEF, GMF, Platform, TPTP, WTP, VE

This will be a new valuable characteristic of Eclipse projects. This is a major commitment by the projects to work at the

boundaries between projects. To make this work, the projects need help from the community

(that’s you) in testing and reporting problems early in the cycle. The Foundation is going to host a contest (with prizes!) around

Callisto bug reports.
