    PROJECT SYNOPSIS

    Project Title:-

    LOW POWER AUDIO AMPLIFIER

    INTRODUCTION

This is a very useful project which amplifies audio signal to a good extent. This

project can be assembled with radio, tape recorder etc. and we can also amplify our

own voice too. This project is based on IC TBA810. The amplifier circuit is a low

power 7 watts audio amplifier based on the TBA810 integrated circuit which can

provide a 7 W output power on a 4 ohms or 2 ohms load impedance . If we are

using a 4 ohms speaker TBA810 power amplifier circuit needs to be powered froma power supply with output voltage of 16 V and if we using a 2 ohms load

impedance we require a 14.4 volts dc power supply .The TBA810 chip is a class B

amplifier with high efficiency and very low harmonic distortion. The input voltage

range of the TBA810 is from 4 volts to 20 volts.Main features of the TBA810

circuit are : low noise, few external components required, polarity inversion

    protection,high supply voltage rejection(40db min.) . TBA810 monolithic audio

amplifier can be used in many audio applications for car radios ,other audio

    devices or portable applications. .

    Working:-

This project is based on IC TBA810.It works on 12V DC power supply. The

condenser mic convertes the voice into audio signal which passes through the 1M

volume control to the pin 8 of IC TBA810.The IC TBA810 amplifies the weak

signal obtained at its pin 8 and finally gives output at pin 12.And the output

obtained at pin 12 is made to pass through 470MFd/16V capacitor to give the

    output through speaker.

The output obtained at the pin12 is amplified. The voice

obtained at the speaker can be increased/decreased by rotating the 1M volume

pot. This project can give an output upto 7 watt.

    Application:-

This project can be easily used in tape recorders, speakers, television, radio

    transistor,P.A.system,musical projects etc.
