I had so much fun designing this fun, quick
quilt! I hope you love making it. This is a great
way to showcase your favorite panel blocks from Apricot & Ash. Easy log cabin blocks
plus framed panel blocks means this quilt
top is easy peasy!

Cutting Instructions:From 29100-11 cut: (10) 8 1/2” x 8 1/2” panel squares (choose your favorites!)
From 29100-19 cut: (11) 8 1/2” x 8 1/2” panel squares (choose your favorites!)
From 29106-19 cut: (14) strips 1 1/2” x wof; subcut: (22) 1 1/2” x 8 1/2” rectangles (A) & (22) 1 1/2” x 10 1/2” rectangles (B)
From 29106-21 cut: (12) strips 1 1/2” x wof; subcut: (20) 1 1/2” x 8 1/2” rectangles (C) & (20) 1 1/2” x 10 1/2” rectangles (D)
From 29105-16 cut: (2) strips 2 1/2” x wof; subcut (21) 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” squares (E)

From 29103-19 cut: (13) strips 2 1/2" x wof; subcut: (21) 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" rectangles (L) & (21) 2 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangles (M)
From the binding fabric (29107-19) cut:(7) strips 2 1/4” x width of fabric; trim selvages, sew the strips together to form continuous binding
From the backing fabric cut:(2) pieces 69” x width of fabric; sew the pieces together to form a horizontal seam in the backing
Panel Block Construction1. Sew (A) to the sides of each of the dark panel blocks. Press away from the center. Sew (B) to the top and bottom of each of the dark panel blocks. Press away from the center. Make a total of 11 dark panel blocks. Each completed block will measure 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" square.
Log Cabin Construction1. Construct (21) 10 1/2” x 10 1/2" Log Cabin blocks using traditional log cabin piecing methods. Use a 1/4” seam allowance and press away from the center. Pieces will be added in alphabetical order.

2. Repeat step 1 using the light panel blocks and the (C) & (D) rectangles to make a total of 10 light panel blocks measuring 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" square.

Lay out the quilt top as illustrated below. Note the orientation of the Log Cabin blocks. Sew the blocks together. Press seams in adjacent rows in opposite directions. Sew the rows together to complete the quilt top. Press seams in one direction.
Finishing the QuiltBaste the quilt top, batting and backing fabric together using your preferred method. Quilt as desired and bind using the 2 1/4” prepared binding strips.
