• How we partner with the school:• Grants - $175,000 over last 4 years to educational

programs, directly enhancing learning in classroom.

• Education – Funding for Math Lab, SAT & ACT test prep, Reflections Art Program, Parent Ed, and Prevention Intervention Counselor, to name just a few.

• Building our Community – Holiday Bazaar, Emergency Prep, legislative advocacy, Angel Fund and Pantry Packs for families in need.

- February 1st and 8th - Renaissance

Personalized online portfolio that students will have throughout high school which is a graduation requirement.

Students will complete career interest inventories, research colleges, plan classes for their 4 years at EHS, and more.

They will be registering for classes through Career Cruising this year so they’ll start to become familiar with it.

Health and Fitness

0.5 Health /0.5 PE (will need an additional 1.0 PE to graduate)

Research shows that activity and exercise boost academic performance, relieve stress, and promote better sleep

Teach healthy lifestyle skills that students will practice and implement in high school and beyond

Honors Biology in the Earth System has the same material

as the on level while extending on depth of knowledge in

each standard with an emphasis on research and student

developed understanding.

Course: This year long course is designed with an integrated

approach to reading, writing, speaking, listening, and higher

level thinking skills.

In this course we will explore the concept of coming of age

through the literary traditions and geographical movement

of cultures and civilizations around the world.

Year end product will be a student driven documentary film

festival based on social justice

Practicing and developing critical thinking skills for success

in advanced courses throughout high school.

Not necessarily the same curriculum as 9th with “extra” or

“more” work

Homework: Varies but students can expect 30-90 minutes

depending on unit/semester

There will be a summer assignment for Social Studies and

Language Arts due the first day of school.
