Ribbon Cutting Held for the Consolidated Service Center

McLeod Health recently held a ribbon cutting for the Consolidated Service Center on Tuesday, September 26. The center located on the campus of McLeod Regional Medical Center currently houses the Distribution Center for all of McLeod Health; Procurement Services; Information Technology; Construction; Real Estate; Legal and the Physician Liaison offices.
Dale Locklair, Senior Vice President of Planning and Facilities Management, offered remarks and a prayer prior to the ribbon cutting. “This is a great day for all of us,” said Locklair. “Many years of planning went into this project, and we are now in business.”
To those in attendance who work in the Consolidated Service Center, Locklair added, “Your work truly makes a difference in the lives of our patients every day.”
The Consolidated Service Center will save McLeod Health more than $2 million dollars a year, according to Locklair. “We are also powered 100 percent by solar energy which enables us to receive a credit from Duke Energy of $580,000.”
In addition to the warehouse space and offices, the center includes three Information Technology training rooms and six conference rooms. There is also a dedicated space for the Corporate Incident Command team to meet during system-wide disasters.

Mandatory FluVaccination At McLeod Health, our highest priority must be to protect our patients, many of whom are exceptionally vulnerable to adverse outcomes from the flu. Therefore, it has been decided that all Health Care Personnel must be required to have the flu vaccination.
This applies to:All employees, faculty, employed medical staff or contracted medical staff, advanced practitioners and rounds, residents, non-McLeod residents, temporary workers, trainees, volunteers, students, vendors, and other contracted personnel, regardless of employer, who provide services to or work at a McLeod Health entity.
Flu vaccinations must be completed by Friday, December 1, 2017. Exemption forms must be turned in by November 3, 2017.Flu vaccinations may be received at a designated location at each hospital campus (see calendar on the Compass), or at McLeod Employee Health after September 30, 2017. Please refer to the Mandatory Seasonal Influenza Vaccination policy under Administrative Policies on the Compass.

parking areas indicated on the map above. McLeod Security Officers will enforce the standard parking regulations.
West Parking Deck: employee parking on all ramps and on the first and third floors. East Parking Deck: employee parking on the ramp leading from the second to the third floor and on the third floor. North Parking Deck: employee parking on all ramps and on the second, third and fourth floors.
