PRINCIPAL’S REPORT Dear Parents and Caregivers,
What fantastic weather we had on Saturday for the P & C Fete. Congratulations to the P & C
Committee for a wonderful day. The number of hours put into organising it was huge. Thank you to
all involved for giving up your time, making a donation and supporting the school by coming to the
Fete. It was all worth it for our kids!
Running Club is on again this afternoon. It will continue for several weeks into next term beginning on
the first day back – the 9th October. Just a reminder that students need to be on their best behaviour
to attend Running Club. If your child is disrespectful and does not listen to or follow the instructions
of Miss Atkins he/she will not be allowed to continue to attend Runners Club. Runners Club is also not
a babysitting service. It is only for students who want to attend.
Our school is a busy place and Mrs Mitchell in the office is usually the busiest person in the school.
There may be times when she is not in the office and attending to other matters. When this occurs
please wait for her to come back. Do not enter her office without permission, even to get a late note
or put something on her desk. She may have open documents on her computer that may be a privacy
concern.
Don’t forget our last assembly for the term is this Friday. Have a wonderful, safe holiday, See all the
students back at school on Monday 9th October.

Eungai P&C would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the people who helped in anyway shape or form,
in the long process in making our fete happen on Saturday. Also to all who helped set up, pack up and of
course worked in any part of the fete on Saturday. There has been a lot of positive feedback already which
has been fantastic.
Congratulations to all our raffle winners. All were contacted on Saturday with some very surprised and
great full winners.
To all the businesses that donated our wonderful prizes for the raffle wow!!! Thank you. Also thank you to
anybody or businesses who donated anything else to help out our fete.
Thanks to anybody who lent us gazebos to help with shade, or an esky for the BBQ and drinks. To anyone
who made something yummy for the cake stall.
To the P&C team congratulations and THANK YOU!!!
To all the staff of Eungai Public thank you. Your efforts before and on the day were fantastic. Thank you to
Miss Atkins and her class for the fabulous signs used at all our stalls.
Mrs Carr thank you for everything, your time and effort was amazing.
Our fete could not of happened if it wasn't for you all......
****Due to a lot of generous donations for our trash n treasure stalls we have a lot of goodies left over. So
with our dilemma the items in the hall are still available to be purchased until Thursday. Any donations of
any kind would be greatly appreciated. Please go to the office to let Mrs Mitchell know you will be in the
hall and pass your donation amounts into the office when you are finished. Whatever is left in the hall by
Thursday lunchtime will be going to charity.****
