Tüyap was founded on 28th June, 1979 as the first exhibition
organizer in Turkey. The continuous increase in Tüyap’s operations
led the company to move its exhibitions to a dedicated venue;
“Tüyap Istanbul Exhibition Palace” on 30th March, 1987. Only a
decade later Tüyap took on an even bigger challenge and invested in
“Tüyap İstanbul Fair Convention and Congress Center”; Turkey’s
first exhibition center with a modern infrastructure complying with
international standards.
As of 2018, with 14 exhibition halls, 120.000 sqm indoor and
25.000 sqm outdoor exhibition space, “Tüyap İstanbul Fair
Convention and Congress Center” is the largest and only privately
owned exhibition center in Turkey.
