Parental Input That day’s lesson can be viewed in your child’s notes

jotter (red) Numeracy Methodologies booklet can be used to see

how examples are taught Amount of classwork completed can be seen at the front

of the jotter (green) Check homework diary is being used Homework can be signed by yourself and comments or

questions added (optional) Pupils benefit tremendously from regular number

practice at home with a parent

Homework An integral part of the course Issued up to 4 times per week in Maths Continuation homework (green jotter) matches

the topic covered in class that day and is self-marked

Pupils should record all homework in their diaries

“Hand-in” homework issued once per fortnight (blue jotter)

“Hand-in” homework can be viewed on school web site
