Studied Theatre Design and Stage Management at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He began his carear at The Edin-burgh Festival working on the Daniel Barenboim Don Giovanni and on the original Death in Venice Production with the English Opera
Group. Since then, he has Lit or Designed over 200 events, around the world,inside and out of the entertainment industry covering large and small scale Opera productions, Theatre, Dance, Fashion Shows, Events, Architecture, and in Comunity Theatre and Education.. He is
also a Fine Artist, Filmmaker, Photographer Projection Artist and has created many privately funded Opera and Theatre events.
He has either Designed or Lit for English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Vlaamse Opera, Goteborgs Opera, Malmo Opera, Opera Transparent, Pimlico Opera, Vaarmlands Opera, The Edinburgh Festival, The Yorke Trust. The Norwegian Opera Oslo.
As a Designer, he has been a Golden Triga winner of the Prague Quadrennial Internation Theatre Design Exhibition.
He is also a Project Lighting Consultant/Designer and Technical Director for The Walt Disney Company Hong Kong.
He was Lighting Designer for Wexford Festival Opera 2015 and has recently Designed and lit Le Nozze di Figaro at the Dublin Music Conservotoire.
