The Duffy Vision:“To inspire a love of books in children so they become adults who inspire a love of reading.”

YAHOO! Duffy Books in homes has begun for 2015. Mr Mac

visited many schools in the Napier, Hastings, Rotorua and Waihi area.

This is an activity Mr Mac really enjoys and treasures the opportunity to share

his message with all students about the importance of learning to read and write

while at school. These assemblies always create extreme laughter and wide smiles.

School is Super cool!

Teacher Comment•Appealed to all ages•All children were engaged•Choosing only a few pages from book to read was good to keep motivation and concentra-tion levels.•Great rapport with children and picking from all levels of school is great.•A reluctant writer was chosen to read and so he related to your story and was inspired by what he saw.•Children have been heard to be discussing what an author/illustrator are and what jobs they do.Thank you so much.Theresa Brady, St Josephs - Hastings
