STUDIO ONE: Create a Tumblr account (if you do not already have one / www.tumblr.com ) and set-up a blog for DSDN112 (carefully think about the naming of this blog). Pick a theme, modify it, and make it your own. Begin researching possible words that you could use for this project; be sure to consider what they express, look up different meanings in dictionaries. Post this work to your Tumblr. STUDIO TWO: Discuss your word selection in groups and with your tutor, what do you want to do with these words? Storyboard these ideas on a 3x3 grid (with annotations). Research Flash tutorials: timeline, keyframe, tween, motion STUDIO THREE: Continue to develop your ideas on both paper, and move into Flash. Try simple movements first and then begin to build complexity into your movement/motions. Make sure you are documenting your development to your Tumblr Blog (5 posts per week as a guide) You should also begin to consider font. How do different Type Faces affect your idea? Are the default ones sufficient? Should you find others online? Can you make your own? Research more Flash tutorials: sound, follow path, shape tween Research HTML + CSS tutorials: introduction basics, hexadecimal colours
