    over 2060 minutes within 24 hours

    continuous infusion: 0.9 mg/kg/hour continuous infusion

    Prednisolone a 1 mg/kg twice a day for 3 days

    a 1 mg prednisolone is equivalent to 5 mg hydrocortisone or 0.15 mg dexamethasone.b

    In severe asthmatic attacks, it can be given up to 1 hourly.
