Draw-a-thon

• 5 students from Holy Family attended the Draw-a-thon hosted by the Joslyn Art Museum Saturday, March 20, 2010.

• The evening activities included several workshops led by Omaha area artists. The students enhanced their understanding of the creative process while honing their drawing and design skills.

• In addition to individual pieces, the approximately 100 students collaborated on several group drawings as well.

• Some of the topics included gesture drawing, positive and negative space relationships, objective and non-objective work, collage, and many more.

• At the end of the night, students displayed their work while enjoying pizza and pop, and were able to connect with each other.

ideas and approaches for their artwork.
