Ida Normiha Hilmi is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Clinical Consultant of Gastroenterology in University of Malaya. A graduate from University of Glasgow, she has wide interest in gastroenterology and hepatology but with special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer. Before coming back to Malaysia, she has worked in many gastroenterology units in the United Kingdom, including the Gastroenterology Unit in John Radcliffe Hospital under Prof Derek Jewell. She is a member of the Asian Pacific Consensus for IBD, Asian Pacific Working Group for Colorectal cancer and Asian EUS Group.
