This has encompassed the management of small, medium and large multi-discipline teams on assignments with values in excess of $150 Million.

I have had technical design authority level skills in many areas of infrastructure which allows me to integrate both my management skills together with an ability to influence the design of Network Infrastructure’s.

I have worked on Major Projects around the world including Data Centre’s, Airports, Rail, MOD, and Healthcare - Hospitals, Financial and Public sector Projects.

I have excellent client and supplier facing skills, also managing project financial budgets / P&Ls and deliverable responsibility right through to project hand over and final account.

I have extensive experience of managing actual and virtual multiple project teams. I have very strong Project Planning skills, including evaluating risk, critical path, health and safely and client expectations, putting together detailed Project Plans in Excel and MS Project, and deriving work packages with critical path programmes, risk assessments, change control and issue reports etc.

As well as my Operations and Project Management Experience I have worked in conjunction with my Operational Roles in major bids / tenders, preparing, evaluating and presenting these to clients all over the country, I have bid managed on PFI Hospital Projects, Data Centre’s, BSF Schools Projects and Airport Projects to name but a few.

ntl: Business/ Workplace Technologies PLC:

Sept 2001 to July 2003.

London normally, but also Europe as required, Senior PM role in the Oxford University Campus upgrade, this entails upgrading all their old voice services internally and externally to a new C3 Voice Platform, making all their lines secure from fraud, supplying new phones etc, a very man-management role.

Role:

Employed in the role of Project Manager 1 on a £23 Million National roll out project, Involved in the latter stages of this project to co-ordinate and manage the Final documentation from Field Implementation Managers.I was engaged for 3 years in the Design and Implementation of an ICT Infrastructure and facilities reconciliation and roll out project upon the merger of Pricewaterhouse and Coopers and Lybrand.

HONG KONG AIRPORT-International Computers Limited/Workplace Technologies:

Feb 97 to Sep 98

Role:

Employed as Contract Operations Manager on the Hong Kong International Airport. My duties included liaisons between the Airport Authority and Airport Maintenance Division Management on behalf of my employer. This included the Defects Liability Period Management where I was responsible for 24-hour standby cover for the Optical Fibre cable Network, managing and utilizing a small team of skilled technicians who form a first line back-up aid to the Airport Maintenance Division. Integral to this role was the management of the Defect Liability budget and monthly financial and progress reporting to the UK based Project Manager.

Nov 96 – Feb 97 Workplace Technologies Plc (The New Hong Kong Airport).

During this period I was employed as an implementation project manager, subsequently gaining promotion to Contract Manager. My duties where to initiate, supervise and manage the installation, termination, testing and commissioning of the Voice and Data backbone & structured cable networks to the Fixed Communication System and Passenger Terminal Building optical fibre network. This network covered a range of systems including: Police Dark Fibre, TSD and ITB Police optical fibre network, CCTV for Fence perimeter security gates and all outfield areas, SITA, Immigration, FIDS, Standby FIDS, Trunk Mobile Radio.
