A resource is only useful if it is used
Creating clinical cases is a great way to consolidate one’s own knowledge
Reinforce clinical case learning with practical application
Clinical cases have helped to reduce teaching required during clinical feedback sessions and more of an opportunity to assess and check what has been learnt during the week
‘Pallied was really useful’‘Pallied is a very good resource’‘really useful and helpful. good layout of the site and the cases
made learning interesting’‘The clinical vignettes and questions helped me to pinpoint where I
lacked knowledge and so where to focus learning’‘After completing some of the SBA exercises on PalliEd a few
similar questions came up on the AMK so in essence very useful! Also appreciated the time set aside to complete these exercises’
‘great website- very student orientated which was excellent’‘PalliEd is a very useful resource. It would be good to have this sort
of site for other weeks’‘The PalliEd site is really useful and I did the clinical cases and
learned from that. It's a good way to get students thinking.’
More clinical cases – Mental Capacity & DOLS, Discharge process, other symptom management cases, emergencies
 Further useful links/videos
Redesign of the website – allow students to log in and track their progress
Encourage Consultants/SpRs to contribute to content (Pallied working group)
