If not, you should ideally find out before being treated with stem cells. Why, you ask? First of all, Vitamin D deficiency is very common. It is also a major contributing factor in most of the chronic illnesses RSCI sees being treated with stem cells. (Several years ago, when I began routinely testing patients scheduled for stem cell therapy, I was astonished to find that most patients tested were vitamin D deficient) Why is this important when seeking stem cell therapy? Vitamin D deficiency, left untreated, may result in the administered stem cells not working as well as they should, causing you to run the risk of poorer, less than optimal response to treatment, and as a consequence less than optimal outcome. With this in mind, I strongly recommend that all patients be routinely blood tested for vitamin D before being treated with stem cells. If your blood level is deficient (defined as 30 ng/ml or less), aggressive vitamin D3 therapy (utilizing a combination of vitamin D-rich foods, sunshine & oral vitamin D3 supplementation) should be started right away, then continued after stem cell therapy until optimal blood levels are achieved (defined as 50-100 ng/ml) and maintained long term. Do you know what your Vitamin D blood level is? If not, you should ideally nd out before being treated with stem cells.

Why, you ask?

First of all, Vitamin D deciency is very common. It is also a major contributing factor in most of the chronic illnesses RSCI sees being treated with stem cells. (Several years ago, when I began routinely testing patients scheduled for stem cell therapy, I was astonished to nd that most patients tested were vitamin D decient)

Why is this important when seeking stem cell therapy?

Vitamin D deciency, left untreated, may result in the administered stem cells not working as well as they should, causing you to run the risk of poorer, less than optimal response to treatment, and as a consequence less than optimal outcome.

With this in mind, I strongly recommend that all patients be routinely blood tested for vitamin D before being treated with stem cells.

If your blood level is decient (dened as 30 ng/ml or less), aggressive vitamin D3 therapy (utilizing a combination of vitamin D-rich foods, sunshine & oral vitamin D3 supplementation) should be started right away, then continued after stem cell therapy until optimal blood levels are achieved (dened as 50-100 ng/ml) and maintained long term.

Stem cell therapy alone is often not enough for best, long term results

The importance of optimal Vitamin D blood levels in patients being treated with stem cells
