These These slides illustrate the results of a demonstration study carried out by the NIHR GSTFT/KCL Biomedical Research Centre. Seven members of the public were given personal pollution monitors (monitoring black carbon, an indicator of combustion, principally diesel vehicle exhaust) and GPS watches to carry throughout their normal day on 10 th December 2012. The results are presented here to highlight the varying levels of pollution they were exposed to throughout their day.
