Candice: Your first photo is funny, creepy and nostalgic at the same time. Funnybecause of the playful pose of the child and the shirt says "1" and I don't know if
you did that on purpose. Creepy because he/she was alone and maybe the toneshad a look of it, nostalgic because of the provincial look behind the child, whichreminded me of Siem Reap. I also thought it means you're shy or hidingsomething.
Rony: It was taken in Jogjakarta, a quiet city in Central Java where modernismand traditional values blend well. I sent it to you and I want you to get the
message about our hidden selves about who we are behind the mask and whowe will be with the mask. Surreal.

Rony: I found the photo to be silent. Peaceful. Mystery. And on the road. When Isee this picture, I pictured myself in a bus, looking outside with a view prettymuch like this, waiting to arrive to someplace new and feel the excitement. That ’swhat I think about this picture.
Candice: Yes, it was taken while I was on the road at Siem Reap, Cambodia. But I was riding a moto. It was taken with a small camera. I posted it as aresponse to your photo because I want to give back the provincial and nostalgic
feel your photo brought about. Something simple like riding a bike early in themorning but feeling excited about life. I'm glad I was able to do that.

Candice: Your second photo was also funny and interesting because of the legs.
And I think you're trying to tell me something about the fun of being on the road. The image also tells me about friendship. Of being on a journey together.
Rony: I took that photo on the street of Jakarta. I want to deliver the messagethat being on the road, unexpected things happen. It could be funny, weird, happy, sad, sorrow… and the idea of what kind of surprise is a mystery until we
encounter it. It’s the one thing that makes a journey exciting.

Rony: Zigzag. Beautiful. A journey perhaps will not be easy but if you travel withyour heart and believe, you will accomplish it with your happy mind and heart.
Candice: This photo was taken from Flickr, I don't know who took it. I tried tolook for an image that could capture a winding road in a very interesting manner.Just like this, a dark night and a very difficult drive, but the emphasis on the lightand movement tells something about what you just said. That every journey
could be exciting. I believe it's a perspective on life we always strive to get.

Candice: Your last photo surprised me, because it looks lonely and scary. Butthe visual surprise of the cat's shadow that looks like a pig or a cow did made me
smile. This one makes me feel like I'm lost in the dark and looking for food or theright path.
Rony: Yes surprise surprise, I just want to emit a message that every journey isalways a mystery. No matter how funny, sad, adventurous. It always has thatspecial something that can make you shocked, bad or good.

Rony: Your last photo gives me a sense of happiness,"at last". A plunge. Like a journey finally ends.
Candice: The last one is the milk i wanna give to the cat. Or rather, i felt like Iwas the cat wanting a glass of milk. The shadow also reminded me of a cow, so I
thought about milk. And yeah, it was the "final plunge" of the journey. :) Hahaha
Rony: Hahaha
