Prayer of Adoration & Praise Hymn of Praise Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing Nettleton

Come, Thou fount of ev‟ry blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise.

Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above; Praise His name, I‟m fixed upon it, name of God‟s redeeming love.

Hither to Thy love has blest me; Thou hast bro‟t me to this place;

And I know Thy hand will bring me safely home by Thy good grace. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God; He, to rescue me from danger, bought me with His precious blood.

After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Fairest Lord Jesus Volkslieder

Fairest Lord Jesus; ruler of all nature, O Thou of God and man the Son.

Robed in the blooming garb of spring. Jesus is fairer; Jesus is purer,

We Fall Down Tomlin

We fall down, we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus, The greatness of mercy and love at the feet of Jesus.

And we cry holy, holy, holy We cry holy, holy, holy

We cry holy, holy, holy is the Lamb. Prayers of Thanksgiving & Petition Pastor Tommy Lee …Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Sacrament of Baptism (see insert)

Anastasia Camille Suggs Offering Sermon3 Pastor Tommy Lee Series: “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” (Matt. 11:28)

LXI. Our Story Matthew 17:14-20 The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper A Word About Communion - The bread and juice you see on the Communion table may not look like much to the casual observer. In fact, it is merely bread and juice. What makes this meal special is that the Lord Jesus Christ is spiritually present in a unique way. This sacrament is not something to be taken lightly but neither is it a time to be somber; rather, we should be filled with thankfulness and joy. Our Savior, out of His great mercy, bids His people to come to this meal. If you are a member of a church who embraces the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are at peace with your fellow Christians, we welcome you to this table. Come and consider with us our Lord‟s body and shed blood symbolized in the bread and juice. Rejoice with us in our union with Him and with each other as His Covenant people. Behold The Lamb Townend/Getty

Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away, Slain for us: and we remember

The promise made that all who come in faith Find forgiveness at the cross.

So we share in this Bread of Life, And we drink of His sacrifice,

As a sign of our bonds of peace Around the table of the King.

The body of our Savior, Jesus Christ,

Torn for you: eat and remember The wounds that heal, the death that brings us life,

Paid the price to make us one. So we share in this Bread of Life,

And we drink of His sacrifice, As a sign of our bonds of love Around the table of the King.

3 4, 5, & 6 year-old children may be dismissed before the sermon to Godly Play in room 173.

The blood that cleanses every stain of sin, Shed for you: drink and remember

He drained death‟s cup that all may enter in To receive the life of God.

So we share in this Bread of Life, And we drink of His sacrifice, As a sign of our bonds of grace Around the table of the King.

And so with thankfulness and faith we rise

To respond: and to remember. Our call to follow in the steps of Christ

As His body here on earth. As we share in His suffering,

We proclaim: Christ will come again! And we‟ll join in the feast of heaven

Around the table of the King. Benediction4 Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. We Are the Body of Christ Hampton

One heart, one Spirit, one voice to praise You, We are the body of Christ.

One goal, one vision, to see You exalted, We are the body of Christ.

And to this we give our lives To see You glorified.

One heart, one Spirit, one voice to praise You,

We are the body of Christ. We are the body of Christ.

4 Just as God called us into His presence at the beginning, so now He commands His blessing upon us as we depart. We look up and extend our hands in a posture of thanksgiving as we receive this great gift. Our final response to God‟s assurance of His peace and presence upon those who are in Christ is a chorus of joyful song.
