§ Only one username and password is needed to contribute content to UNPAN 2.0

– Each UNPAN Partner’s staff who contributes to UNPAN will have his or her own unique username and password which will be linked to their organization

§ UNPAN 2.0 does have version control. Users will have access to all versions contributed.

What is Taxonomy?

§ Taxonomy is a hierarchical scientific classification system. UNPAN 2.0 uses this to categorize and classify documents and content contributions.

§ UNPAN-DPADM may be able to share its online platform with IPMA-HR in the delivery of our courses to the HR community, and in turn raise the knowledge management among many HR professionals

§ It is very important to CLAD to have access to the methods, tools and techniques developed and updated by UNPAN for the knowledge management related with the public administration, looking for a multiple effect through this way.

IIAS§ Information on each new Conference or

Training activity in Africa needs to be monitored by CAFRAD and, if relevant, posted on UNPAN Conference/Training Service. To do this we need to hire additional staff such as an assistant of research to work fully on UNPAN programme;

§ Experts to support UNPAN ORC–CAFRAD in training and advisory services to implement UNPAN activities and provide equipment, technical support and training are required



§ Targeting the right staff responsible for knowledge sharing in order to reinforce their capacity through training or upgrades sessions.

§ As part of its activities, IDEP organizes monthly public lectures on targeted topics . These conferences could be shared in the form of video recordings. In this regard, UNPAN would provide IDEP with the right equipment and knowledge.

FacebookIt is a social networking website that connects people. On UNPAN’s Facebook page we promote some of the content published daily on the UNPAN website and also in other social media, such as Picasa and Scribd.

RSS FeedRSS (an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication) is a tool that notifies the users (subscribed to this service) when a new content is uploaded in the UNPAN website. The user can access the new content through a RSS reader (Google Reader, FeedDemon, NewsGator…).

ScribdIt is a publishing and reading social network where users can share and discover original written content on the web. The publications available on UNPAN's account can also be accessed through mobile devices. The users can also download, print and give feedbacks.
