The Business Solutions team is part of the eGroup division at Alshaya, comprising of highly skilled professionals with multi-faceted competencies and skills.

Business Solutions is all about simplifying business. We focus primarily on the future; constantly aspiring and working on improving business efficiency, in all areas of the business across functions and markets; while creating and maintaining a knowledge base of business processes.

The Business Solutions team undertakes consulting assignments by performing feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, preparation of business case, study of business requirements and communicating through white papers, presentations, etc. with systems and processes at the heart of its solutions.

Our participation goes beyond just recommendations and includes implementations. We recommend solutions after rigorous business process and data analysis and modelling; followed by prototyping solutions to layout implementation.

Business Solutions is the internal process consulting team at Alshaya, providing cross-functional solutions across all brands and markets. The Business Solutions team has successfully worked on some key company projects over the past few years relating to areas such as sales force automation, inventory management and stored value cards.

The team is currently working on diverse projects across Alshaya, spanning verticals of brand management, merchandising, operations, supply chain, finance and information technology.

Working in business process re-engineering and system driven solutions, Business Solutions is instrumental in helping Alshaya perform at pace. Apart from implementing international best practices in the business, we also act as an innovation centre in the business by driving and managing change.

Being a part of the Business Solutions team not only promises challenges and opportunities, but also creates the chance to be part of an ever-evolving business.

Navneet Arora, Project Manager. MBA from IIM Lucknow. Worked previously as a consultant in luxury retail, services retail and new venture franchise setup for international brands. Prior to his MBA, Navneet has worked with IBM as an engineer.

Arnab Ray, Business Solutions Manager. Worked as consultant in McKinsey & Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining Alshaya. He has completed his MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Bal Mukund, Business Solutions Manager. MBA IIM Lucknow, B.Tech IIT Delhi. Diverse work experience in sales, marketing, equity research, client management and business consulting with companies like the Aditya Birla Group, Auroch Investment Managers & Technopak Advisors.

Gaurav Jasoria, Business Solutions Manager. MBA from IIM Calcutta. Diverse work experience in Management Consulting , Financial Analytics and IT Consulting with companies like Tata Strategic Management Group, Citigroup and MindTree Consulting.

Shikha Tomar, Business Solutions Manager. Started her career as an Assistant Manager at a merchant trading. Upon graduating from IIM Calcutta, worked with Yes Bank as a Relationship Manager in the commercial banking division.

Ashish Verma, Business Solutions Engineer. B.Tech, M.Tech from IIT Bombay. Has industrial experience at Reliance Industries Limited and Essar Group along with cross country academic projects in Romania with real world impact.

Mathew Vipin Thomas, Business Solutions Manager.He has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and completed his BE from BIT, MESRA. Prior to his MBA, he worked at Amdocs Development Ltd., Cyprus, in both technical and international pre-sales roles.

Saurabh Bhola, Business Solutions Manager. Worked as an Analyst in Royal Bank of Scotland and Infosys prior to joining Alshaya. He has an MBA from IIM Lucknow.

Kunal Mittal, Business Solutions Engineer. B.Tech & M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Bombay. Has worked with Siemens Information Systems Limited, India.

Sakshi Bansal, Business Solutions Engineer. B.Tech in Textile Engineering from IIT Delhi. Has worked in Trident Group (Abhishek Industries Ltd.) for 2 months.

Sohail Gupta, Business Solutions Engineer. Completed Biochemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and has been a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School, MIT and University of Edinburgh. His internships have been at Massachusetts General Hospital, USA and Ranbaxy labs, India.
