Our Festival, Basin Summer SoundsFor the past nine years, Basin Summer Sounds has grown into the largest free music festival in Washington State, featuring a pro-gressive mix of live music, dance, crafts, children’s activities, and visual arts.

The two-day festival features 11 musical performances at the main stage on the beautiful and historic grounds of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata Washington.

The festival also features kids activities, a downtown street fair, and the Basin Summer Sounds 3 on 3 Basketball tournament. This tournament is for charity and has grown in popularity as much as the live music it’s self.

The ninth annual Basin Summer Sounds festival was a weekend to remember, not just for our community but for the thousands of visitors that came to Ephrata to join in on the fun. Festival goers came from all over the United States and Canada. Over 25,000 strong attended the free event, making it one of our largest two day music festivals in Ephrata’s history.

The Ephrata Chamber of Commerce, the Basin Summer Sounds Committee, City of Ephrata and all our sponsors and supporters are proud to be able to provide such a great event like this at no cost for our community and all our new friends who attend. We look forward to making more new friends at our next festival in 2013.

Sponsorship Packages

This package includes all naming rights in association with Basin Summer Sounds.

Marketing Material includes Festival Banners, all programs, posters, fl yers, state wide newspaper ads, magazine ads as well as website promotions and viral marketing. Your name will appear as “Basin Summer Sounds presented by your company name” for fi nal three quarters of 2013 and the fi rst quarter of 2014 . Over the two days of the Festival, there are multi-act shows each day, each with a different audience appeal. The Title Sponsor for the Festival will have the opportunity to activate a retail booth on site product sampling, demos, and promotions.

Festival sponsor will also be invited for artist meet & greets within the Main stage allowing to “touch the bands as well as the fans.”

This package includes co-naming rights with Festival Sponsor in association with Basin Summer Sounds Main Stage. Marketing Material includes all programs, banners, posters, fl yers, state wide newspaper ads, magazine ads as well as radio and website promotions and links to your company website.

Marketing Material includes all programs, banners, posters, fl yers, state wide newspaper ads, magazine ads as well as radio and website promotions and links to your company website.

Over the two days of the Festival, the Beer and Beverage Garden is open 5pm to 11pm on Friday and 10am to 11pm Saturday for the event. The Beer and Beverage Garden is located in easy viewing distance of the main stage with a capacity of near 1200 people. Service in the Garden includes select beer, wine and sodaproducts and water. The Beer and Beverage Garden has become a popular place to hold events such as birthday parties as well as class reunions and other activities. Signage for the area includes all the Garden as well as a banner on or around the Main Stage.

Kids Sponsorship $5500.00 This package includes co-naming rights with Festival Sponsor in association with Basin Summer Sounds Kids Activities. Marketing Material includes all programs, banners, posters, fl yers, state wide newspaper ads, magazine ads as well as radio and website promotions and links to your company website.

The Kids Activities take place Saturday 12pm to 4pm on Main Street in Downtown Ephrata, 1 block from the Main festival Stage. The kids events are supervised by City of Ephrata Park and Recreation staff. Over the years, the kids activities have become one of the most popular events associated with the Music Festival. The Kids Activities Sponsor for the Festival will have the opportunity to activate a retail booth on site product including sampling, demos, and product promotions. Signage at the site of the Kids Activities as well as banners placed on or around the Main Stage.

Participation Age: 4 to 14, but every one is welcome to watch and cheer on their kids!

Partner with Basin SummerSoundsAlmost eleven years ago, a group of people came together want-ing to do something for our community. The goals were simple. Create a family oriented event that would help local businesses and showcase our small city.

Now ten years later, it’s more then just a music festival. It’s a respected and anticipated part of our community. It’s a Charity Basketball Tournament helping families and individuals that gets bigger every year. It’s a kids playground , with kids events, crafts and activities that fi ll our downtown. It’s a huge number of local volunteers and great local sponsors giving their time and money to host all the out of town visitors. And yes, it’s a great two dayMusic Festival with great crowds, the greatest bands and becoming more popular and successful with each passing year.

But more importantly it’s a festival giving back. Last year as a couple of us stood in the sound booth watching the fi nal bands, and seeing the crowd that had assembled, we realized just how much the festival meant to all who were there. Everybody was dancing, clapping and smiling. But this was not Seattle or Spokane, this was Ephrata. A free music festival with top entertainment performing for thousands. We realized that even though we, and many who were there in attendance are fortunate and have the ability to go to concerts, and big music festivals, there were many there of all ages who are not asfortunate, and had never been to a concert or festival before.

Basin Summer Sounds Music Festival is our gift. Today we still have the same core group. Little did we know that eleven years later, not only would we surpass our goals, but we would help defi ne a good part of our community as well.
