Mechanical Set Retrievable PackerELK1-X PackerTechnical Data Sheet

The ELK1-X Mechanical Packer is a retrievable, double-grip compression or tension-set production packer that holds pressure from above or below. Once set the tubing string can be left in tension, compression, or in a neutral position. A large internal bypass reduces the swabbing effect during run-in and retrieval, and closes when the packer is set. When the packer is released, the bypass opens first, allowing the pressure to equalize before the upper slips are pulled from the casing. The ELK1-X Packer also features an upper slip releasing system that reduces the force required to release the packer. A non-directional slip is released first, making it easier to release the other slips. These flexible features allow the ELK1-X to be run in a variety of applications ranging from Production Packer to Bridge Plug to Service Packer.

A large internal bypass reduces swabbing when running and retrieving. The by-pass closes when the packer is set and opens prior to releasing the upper slips when retrievingto allow pressure equalization

The packer is designed for differential pressures up to 10.000 PSI (69 MPa) from above or below.

The J-slot design allows easy setting and releasing; 1/4 turn right-or left hand set, 1/4 turn right-hand release.

The ELK1-X Packer can be left in tension, neutral or compression after setting, depending on well conditions and the required application.

Adjustable straight pull emergency shear release or emergency rotate release feature.

Possible to run with accessories like Circulating Valves, On-Off Tools or Landing Nipples.

T-2 On-Off Tool

T-2 ON/OFF Tool

The Model T-2 On-Off Tool is a left-hand release, tubing disconnect device with an internal lock profile for securing flow control equipment. It is used in operations that require tubing disconnect and reengagement without unsetting the packer. The internal lock profile is used to retain flow control devices such as plugs, valves or chokes. The T-2 On-Off Tool comprises two basic components, the Overshot and Stinger. The Overshot has a Box Up which connects to tubing string. The Stinger has a Pin Down which connects to the packer. The Overshot has a wash over shoe configuration which allows cutting through debris. The Overshot automatically jays up on Stinger when lowered into well.

Designed to isolate a lower zone or to disconnect the tubing

without unsetting the packer.

1/4 turn Left-hand release, auto-on.

Bonded seals allow multiple disconnects.

Can be pinned in a shear-up or shear-down position.

Type X internal lock profiles are standard.

Full open or solid Stinger for Bridge Plugs available.

Model H – Circulating Valve The Model H Circulating Valve is a multiple acting

tool used with service packers for equalizing tubing

and annulus pressures. Special o-ring type seals

will withstand repeated cycles of equalizing. The

type H circulating valve got a straight slot which

provide torque transmitting through the valve to

allow setting of the service packer. The straight

slot circulating valve is closed by straightly setting

down and opened by straightly picking up.

This allows to open and close the valve multiple

times without unsetting the service packer.

Cement Retainer

Sliding Sleeve Valve Cement Retainer are used for cementingoperations. These drillable retainers set securely in anyhardness casing. Easy drilled out. 10.000 PSI pressure rating. Can be easily converted to Bridge Plug or wire-lineset with adapter to Baker Setting Tool.

Mechanical Setting Tool

Is used to mechanically set Cement Retainer. It has a built-insnap-latch, allowing the stinger to be latched into the CementRetainer with set-down weight and released with either up-strainor right-hand rotation. This snap-latch feature allows the sleeve-valve tobe shifted open or closed while the tubing is still anchored tothe retainer. Cement Retainer can be set and pressure tested in a singletrip. Can be easily converted to mechanically set Bridge Plugs.

Hydo-Mechanischer Bridge Plug

HMBP Bridge Plug:

The HMBP Bridge Plug is a simple, economical, fully drillable,

tubing run permanent bridge plug. A built in setting tool is designed

as part of the tool for efficiency. It is ideal for applications in which a

Wireline unit is unavailable. The ‘HM-BP’ is run and set using

conventional tubing. The tool utilizes differential pressure to set

the top slips of the ‘HMBP’, and then tubing tension is used to

fully set the bridge plug. This allows setting pressure to be kept low.

Stage Collar (Hydraulic/Mechanical)

The Stage Cementing Collar has been designed for stage cementing applications where the operator wants flexibility to open the stage collar either hydraulically or mechanically. The design features two internal sleeves that shift during the stage cementing operations. The bottom sleeve can be shifted open through the use of hydraulic pressure or by dropping an opening dart and allowing it to gravitate to the opening seat. The stage collar can be field set to open hydraulically at different opening pressures. This is achieved through the addition or removal of the shear screws from the stage cementing tool. The changing of the opening pressure does affect the force required to open the stage collar mechanically if an opening bomb is subsequently used. Closing of the stage cementing collar is affected through the pumping of a closing plug behind second stage cement and applying pressure upon completing displacement. The Fangmann stage cementing collar can be ordered for applications for two or three stage cement jobs. It can also be used in liner applications when the closing plug has been adapted to fit the closing seat in the stage collar.

CSTÊÈ CEMENT SUPPORT TOOL When competent plug cementing is an issue.

Propper support of the cementplug is essential for a successful plug placement. With the CSTTM this is no longer a concern, or time consuming.

OVER 95% success rate historically. General information:

• A tough membrane that is spring activated to seal against the open hole or casing. • Supplied ready to run.

• No rental tools involved. • No training required to operate. • Load the CST inside the work string from transport tube.

• Can either be pumped directly ahead of the spacer/cement or placed before the pre-job circulation is started. Features: • Placed at setting depth, and after exiting the pipe, it will fold out and fill the hole.

• The dart displaces the CST and helps prevent contamination in the string. • No other plug support is required as long as formation integrity is adequate.

• Multiple cement plugs can be set with multiple CST’s with only one trip in the hole.

With more than 1000 successful runs, the term òfield provenò should be sufficiently demonstrated.
