Doubts and DifficultiesExodus 4:27-6:13
• God convinces His people to believe His Word.–God’s word is confirmed by
a demonstration of His power.–Worship is the faithful
response of a believing heart.
• God allows people to reject His word. –God gives us a choice as to
how we will respond to Him.
–God’s plans are not hindered by our choices.
• God allows His people to endure hardships.–Our theology of God is big
enough to see our suffering and His goodness without contradiction.
• God allows His people to endure hardships.–The suffering we endure is
incomparable to the goodness we will receive.
• God allows His servants to be criticized.• God tolerates grumbling
against Him.
–Grumbling is the result of forgetting who God is.
• God reminds us of His character and His promises.
–God says, “I AM and I will.”
• God patiently works out His plans.–Rejection, hardship,
opposition and complaining do not change God’s good plans.
