A Sense-sational Taste and Smell Event to Benefit the Monell Center @ 50
The Monell Center, the world’s leader in taste and smell science, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018. One of the many discoveries we’ve made over the years is that everyone loves a good celebration with food, drink, and friends — topped with a dash of appetizing science.
You are invited to join our celebration at a one-of-a-kind event, DOUBLE TASTY: DINNER AND A SHOW.
WHAT A four-course small plates dinner, accompanied by commentary on taste, smell, health, and safety from Monell’s world-renowned scientists. Dinner selections will be crafted by Chef Daniel Stern, recognized for his unexpected spin on modern American cuisine.
Following dinner, enjoy an interactive presentation by Nicola Twilley and Cynthia Graber, hosts of Gastropod, an award-winning podcast that looks at food through the lenses of science and history. Then mingle during a dessert reception with other guests and our Gastropod hosts.
