Dormitory Management
Overview
Kingdee K/3 Dormitory Management module is designed for enterprises with a large work force and who
have dormitories for their employees. The Dormitory Management module can be used to manage
dormitory resources, handling employee transfers from dormitories and maintaining accommodation
records.
The module is seamlessly integrated with K/3 Personnel Management, Compensation Management,
Attendance Management, Employee Platform, and the Report modules thereby providing a complete HR
Management solution.

The building management function helps enterprises maintain information records for buildings, such as
their names, completion date, address, etc.

The room management function helps maintain master data and records of rooms in the dormitory. It
includes information such as room names, area, building, floor beds in rooms, vacant beds, room
category to define whether the room is for men or women, room grade, room purpose, and facilities in
rooms. Users can easily query facilities in rooms and tenant information. The room management function
supports a room card view for a detailed view of room information and a list view to display overall room
information.
Check-in Management
The check-in management function helps users easily locate bed or room availability and to then allocate
free beds or rooms to relevant employees. The system is well-integrated with the Personnel
Management module and it keeps a record of relevant check-in information such as check-in time,
check-out time, and whether he/she is a dormitory monitor.

Check-out Management
The check-out management functions help manage employees checking out of a room at the dormitory.
Accommodation Record Maintenance
The Accommodation Record Maintenance function keeps records of tenant names, tenant types, their
sex, check-in date, dormitory monitor status, room number, etc. Users can also edit and delete these
accommodation records.
External Accommodation Record Maintenance
The External Accommodation Record Maintenance function keeps records of employees who have
opted for alternative external accommodation, rather than using the dormitory facilities.
