THE POCKET BOOK SERIES

This is an English translation of seven pock-et books that were assembled with the aim ofsummarizing some of the information con-tained in the books originally published inPortuguese since 1987. This Pocket BookSeries is the begining of the publication of thismaterial in the English language.

Inspired by these books, spiritual study groupshave begun gathering in various countries forsilent prayer and reflection and the develop-ment of their inner potential.

Each book in this series has a way of sparkingthe impulse to enter the essence of one’s being,to become one with the inner world. Althougheach book is complete in itself and independ-ent of the others, together they represent ajourney directing the reader to a new stage in

his or her life. This collection is intended forthose who feel called to imbue their lives withsublime principles.

The Light Within You, the first book in theseries, gives readers some thoughts for consid-eration, which may lead them to discover theseed of light within.

Doorway to a Kingdom represents the stagewhen, once this seed has sprouted, it breaksthrough the earth and comes into contact withthe sun, the air and larger plants that help pro-tect it. It is about contact with the planet’senergy centers, which are aiding the develop-ment of the souls of human beings.

We Are Not Alone expresses the stage when thestalk has started to form. We grow in awarenessof a path to be followed, of choices to be madetoward evolution and of tests to go through sothat the true purpose of our time on Earth isfulfilled.

Winds of Spirit suggests the stage in theplant’s life when it is concentrating on itsleaves, breathing in harmony with the rhythmsof the Universe. This book is dedicated toprayer. It inspires us and imbues us with clarityto deal with material things.

Finding the Temple is the time when the plantblossoms in beauty and harmony. It invites usto cross the threshold into spiritual conscious-ness and to participate in the life of groups ofsouls, and in the work of the planetaryHierarchies.

There Is Peace represents the time when thetree bears fruit. The words are nourishment fora life of service that readers may have alreadystarted, or for which they may be preparing.

Finally, Path Without Shadows represents thestage when, once the tree has borne fruit, itoffers its seeds for the birth of new plants.These writings include a series of mantras in

TO THE READER

Today many people are aware of the spiritualpath, its philosophical aspects as well as itspractices and self-transformation. However,they are not always able to follow this path withthe necessary steadfastness. This is why spiri-tual teachings counsel increasing receptivity tothe transcendent, transforming energies bymeans of pure love for that which is divine. Thisattitude of devotion must be free of emotional-ism in order to attain its goal with precision. Ithelps people to advance and to readily enterevolutionary service. At the same time it ele-vates the positive aspects of their current stateso as to adapt it to the new vibration of thisplanetary universe.

For those who are preparing themselves in thisway, we offer this book based on selected and

adapted excerpts from The Resurgence ofFatima — Lis. When we first published thesewritings about the well-known spiritual center atFatima, the book was divided into several sec-tions that converged, producing a stimulus thatenabled the reader to be elevated. In this updat-ed and simplified version we have restrictedourselves to specific subjects that could betterhelp the reader to recognize the intraterrestrialcenter of Lis as a true source of inspiration.

INTRODUCTORY CONCEPTS

HUMANITY is a form of life that is spreadthroughout the universes in different dimen-sions. It is not limited to concrete worlds or tothe surface of planets. One of the goals of theevolution of humanity of the surface of theEarth is to enter these dimensions and to grad-ually experience them.

Among the planets which harbor humanity theEarth is one that most needs to evolve, aboveall because of the way of life of the inhabitants of its surface. But human beings do not existonly on the surface of the Earth. On the subtlelevels of the planet there are colonies, serv-ice groups and even multitudes of souls

in a process of purification. Furthermore, ahumanity with members in the most diversestages of evolution can be found in the supra-physical intraterrestrial sphere. This humanityruns the gamut from primitive beings, whoinhabit the primordial planes concentrated inthe center of the planet, to divine beings whohave attained the highest possible levels of evo-lution in this universe.

This pocket book proposes to contribute tostrengthening the link between humanity of thesurface of the Earth and evolved intraterrestrialand extraterrestrial humanity.

BY AND LARGE, humanity of the surface of theEarth is divided among three stages of evolu-tion: those who have still not awakened to innerreality, those who are receptive to inner reality

and intend to cooperate toward evolution, andthose who consciously live inner reality. We areaddressing, above all, those who are receptiveto this reality within themselves and within theplanet.

Humanity comprises an indispensable linkamong the many kingdoms that make up theevolutionary stages of a planet. This is mainlybecause it can channel the energies that aresent from spiritual and divine kingdoms to theinfra-human kingdoms.

On Earth, humanity represents the planetaryconscious self.* For this reason it has a funda-mental role in determining the governing lawsof each cycle.

Since humanity’s acts have an impact on theother kingdoms, its principal function is toattain higher levels of life.

The planet has reached its present disharmo-nious state and is in need of healing because

human beings have ignored their true destiny,which is supra-mental evolution.

This healing, as well as the advancement ofhuman evolution, occurs when individuals arecommitted to positive tasks in benefit of others.It takes place when they fulfill what is foreseenfor them in the Plan of Evolution and when theyexpress their own inner reality in the outerworld. Under these conditions their task regard-ing their fellow beings can reach its fullness andtheir relationships can become authentic.

Thus we see that humanity has an importantrole to perform in the current purification andreconstruction of the Earth, a role that is still tobe recognized and undertaken. Until now thistransformative process has been carried outmainly by intraterrestrial and extraterrestrialbeings, under the governance of elevatedHierarchies.* This process generates a potentvortex of energy that makes the terrestrial

spheres more subtle and interconnects spiritu-al and divine life with material life in order tobring about the designs of the Planetary Being.

Undoubtedly, in this era great energy potentialhas been channeled toward all this.

IN ORDER TO BETTER UNDERSTAND the ideasexpressed here, it would be good to knowsomething about the existence and activities ofthe supra-physical bases of operation and ofthe planetary centers.

The bases of operation are an important under-pinning to the service of the Hierarchies and of the supra-physical vessels. They are mobileand can place themselves in different regionsand dimensions, according to the task to be performed. In general they mediate the

energies of the planetary centers for humanityand for the external world.

The planetary centers are powerful nuclei ofspiritual and divine life. They pick up extra-plan-etary and cosmic energies and radiate them inan orderly fashion to all the terrestrial environs.By means of these centers the evolutionary pur-pose reaches humanity and the other kingdomsthat inhabit the planet. The spiritual govern-ment of the Earth is anchored in these centers.

An intraterrestrial civilization, bearing the samename, is linked to each planetary center. In thefuture, humanity of the surface will alsobecome consciously integrated into this sacredcontext. This is being prepared in the presentplanetary transition by means of the RescueOperation.*

This operation, commanded by Entities* andcosmic Hierarchies, seeks to prevent the planetfrom disintegrating under the weight of the

enormous physical and psychic pressurecaused by the disorderly life of human beingsand to allow the planet to continue along itsevolutionary path. It brings all planetary life,and humanity in a special way, into a new moresubtle vibratory gradation.

This process includes, among other actions,the total purification of the Earth, the transfer of a large part of this humanity to worlds thatcorrespond to its level of evolution and theplanet’s reconstruction and re-harmonizationbased on supranatural laws.

THIS BOOK brings an impulse in the direction ofspiritual worlds and laws. We consider the ener-gy of the Lis-Fatima center to be fundamentalto the action of the Rescue Operation and con-sequently to the higher evolution of humanity.

Lis-Fatima is an intraterrestrial center, which is a much more advanced civilization than theone that exists on the surface of the Earth. At present it is in charge of providing basic serv-ices for the planet.

The humans who inhabit the surface of theEarth are not yet aware of the structure thatunderlies planetary life. They exploit theresources of the planet without concern for pre-serving or aiding its evolution. They pursue thesatisfaction of their desires and in doing so, dis-rupt rhythms, disrespect the laws of equilibriumand destroy what nature creates. On the otherhand, the supra-physical and intelligent civi-lizations, each on its own level of comprehen-sion, know the planetary laws and the Plan of Evolution for the Earth, and cooperatedirectly with their fulfillment. This is why theykeep watch over what goes on with this human-ity, in order to assist, to inspire and to protect it

from certain dangers which humanity itself iscausing. Without this protection, such dangerswould be even more threatening. Furthermore,these invisible civilizations receive into theiraura, and in certain cases on near-physical levels, beings from the surface of the Earth.

When human beings are focused on the soullevel, their evolutionary tasks and works areaimed at the fulfillment of the planetary goal.When they are focused on the spiritual leveland express themselves through the body oflight,* they encompass the evolutionary goalsof various planets and cooperate toward theirfulfillment. When they are focused on themonadic level, they begin to serve solar lifedirectly and to express their even more sublimecharacteristics.

Lis-Fatima touches our consciousness andcalls us to awaken, in order to guide us alongthis vast pathway.

The Elder Brothers, both intraterrestrial andextraterrestrial, beings of love and light, whohave attained unity with Truth and Life to aninconceivable degree, speak to us through Lis-Fatima.

May we respond to this silent call, which leavesthe indelible imprint of Peace on our hearts.

ASCENDING ARROWS

THOSE WHO SEEK spiritual life should not stop atthe concealed aspect of the process of evolu-tion, at experiences or visions pertaining to thesubtle levels of consciousness. These mayoften turn out to be illusions. When the princi-pal aim is the fulfillment of the pure Being, anyother goal is secondary and becomes a disper-sion of the energy that should be concentratedon a single point. The Great Teacher referred tothis singleness of purpose as the only neces-sary thing.

THE SPIRITUAL HIERARCHIES, the Healers and the Teachers who act on the inner planes of life, work on the consciousness of the humanbeing. When necessary, they can express them-selves in concrete ways, including by means ofapparitions, materializations or words transmit-ted inwardly.

BEFORE ARRIVING at the elevated state of void, abeing passes through many phases, to whichdetachment is a key. The path is shortenedwhen, upon receiving an inner instruction, thebeing immediately goes to another level andproceeds, in pure faith, along ways heretoforeunknown.

AUTHENTIC REVELATIONS come from supra-human levels, channeled to humans through

their higher nuclei. The messages, inspirations,and information coming down from these lev-els always go through the inner filters of thesebeings, regardless of whether or not this is real-ized or accepted.

WHAT HAPPENS TO SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS, on theirtrajectory from their incorporeal sources to thephysical brain of whoever is receiving them,depends not only upon the purity of the oneserving as the channel, but also upon the con-glomerate composed of the psychic matter ofthe planet and of humanity, of which the indi-vidual is a part. These conditions are undergo-ing change and in the near future humanityshould be definitely polarized on more sublimelevels of existence, free from desires and grossillusions.

THE SECRETS OF MORE PROFOUND levels of exis-tence are revealed to human beings when theyare able to follow the spiritual law. A portionof those secrets is summarized in the follow-ing injunction: be in the world but not of theworld. When humans allow themselves tobelong to the world, their dispassion, which istheir path to the immutable, becomes lost.

THE HIGHER ENERGY coming from the Hierarchygathers up the sparks of sincere surrender fromthose who yearn to ascend to nonmaterial exis-tence. Those who offer themselves in this wayare elevated to otherwise inaccessible levels.They are guided to be reunited with their ownessence.

What has been announced to humankind willinvariably be accomplished. Life in communion

with the spheres of sacred consciousnesses isaccessible to those who seek it.

A POWERFUL POSITIVE ENERGY is more active onthe surface of the Earth today than in the past,even though it is often not noticed. It revealsitself to those who have no ambition to see it.When it is present, the atmosphere stirs and aflame is ignited within human beings, a power-ful invitation to proceed on the Path. Life onEarth goes on, despite the fact that the majori-ty of humanity continues dormant, imprisonedby personal interests and thinking only of ben-efiting from that which material existence canstill provide them. The fact that life does go on,is unquestionable proof of the intervention ofthis powerful energy.

ONE CAN TAKE different routes toward the door-way to spiritual life. However, there is but oneimpulse that leads to it: the call toward cosmicintegration. Under this impulse, any movementin the direction of the personality amounts toan interruption of a process that is underway.To get lost in human issues means to frag-ment a field of elevated energy that graduallyexpands the borders of the inner world. Ifcracks open up, not only will it take great effortto reassemble this field of energy, it will alsotake time to eliminate all the forces opposed tothe elevation which infiltrated it.

THE STATE OF INNER OPENNESS may seem distantand unattainable to the mind of someone whoneeds to see the edges of the road being fol-lowed. In silence, however, this inner state doesset in. By means of compassion and the pre-eminence of the spiritual life, a greater reality

unexpectedly unfolds to one’s consciousness, areality that transcends human limits and thatmanifests itself as totality.

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRITUAL KINGDOM onthe surface of the Earth is, of itself, a supra-human accomplishment. However, humans willbe able to reflect the spiritual kingdom in theirouter lives when interacting with the planetaryand cosmic symbols and archetypes.

FROM A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW the planet shouldhave been in condition to manifest harmonyand perfection ever since its beginning. Such apossibility, present in the human concept of“Paradise,” was safeguarded in the bosom ofthe Earth and has always been there, pulsating.

In this way, the certainty of taking part in thissublime state was nurtured in many beings.

INNER LIFE, the path to liberation, is fruit of the work that Perfection accomplishes on consciousness, polishing rough edges, and shaping it to the likeness of its own image.Perfection guides consciousness throughsucessive metamorphoses transforming mudinto gold. It leads beings away from the state ofidentification with form toward the state inwhich they recognize themselves as divine, incorporeal beings.

The energy of the supra-physical spiritual cen-ters also contributes to the inner life of humanbeings who inhabit the surface of the Earth.Currently this potent energy is linked to thosewho keep themselves attuned to the pur-pose of their existence, those who, in humility

and silence, have patiently awaited the time ofthe encounter with this energy. In times goneby some of these humans, who were faithfulexpressions of purity and innocence, receivedthe impulse from the Lis-Fatima center intotheir inner being. They remained linked to it,eventhough they were not aware of it.

LIS-FATIMA has a very fundamental restorativerole in the imminent state of chaos. However, amore complete manifestation of this center willawait the coming cycle, when humans of theplanetary surface will then be able to perceive it.

VARIOUS SPIRITUAL BASES of the planet, amongthem the one that exists on the subtle planes ofthe city of Fatima, are working in order for res-cuable beings to be removed from the surfaceof the Earth in a harmonious way during the

approaching times of chaos. Various areas ofthe planet’s magnetic field are being activatedto carry out this transfer. The work of the cen-ters is revealed to human beings as theybecome attuned to the vibrations of thesebases. In order for this to take place, it is notnecessary to belong to any outer group or sect,since the process is essentially an inner one.

Civilizations have always existed on the innerplanes and these have always been mysterious.They do not generally appear in scientific orhistorical reports. Since they are on supra-physical dimensions, they cannot be detectedby current earthly technology, but only by theinner senses, by intuition.

THE INTRATERRESTRIAL CENTER linked to Fatimais a world parallel to the physical one and can express itself in both hemispheres of the

planet. It can also have extensions in the formof vibrations and consciousness in differentparts of the solar system and elsewhere. Thisinner counterpart to Fatima is named Lis.

THERE ARE SO MANY FORCES to be transmutedfor the planet to reach equilibrium that all thoseable to help have already joined in this work.However, the situations and the means bywhich transmutation is accomplished are var-ied and unique, and the reasons that move thespirit of those who carry out this service arealways mysterious.

SPIRITUAL BASES situated in different dimensionswill be revealed subjectively to individuals andto groups who volunteer to cooperate with the

evolutionary tasks related to the current plane-tary transition, provided their offering is sincereand free from emotionalism and curiosityregarding the manifestation of phenomena.The surrender of self to the depths of one’s owninner being in pure faith, together with disinter-ested service, connect one to these nucleiwhere extraterrestrial and intraterrestrial ener-gies are anchored.

All links of this nature conceal within them thekeys to finding essential divinity.

THE LAW that allows for conscious contact withthe different levels of existence of the universeis not limited to a set of rules or to external con-cepts, although these may be necessary for theaspirant who seeks the Way of the Spirit. The Law is the essence of the Supreme Will.The closer beings get to the Law, the more they

perceive it unhampered by formal trappings.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC LAWS for each plane of con-sciousness. Laws are trails along which thetraveler advances. But when one arrives at thedestination, trails are no longer necessary.

FEW HAVE APPLIED IN THEIR LIVES that which they have come to understand. The majority ofthose who did so have expected humanrewards. Great gifts that were offered to themwere often rejected. But if these beings call outto the heavens for liberation, the Light impris-oned within them will break through the denselayer deposited over It, and will spread to allcorners of the Earth and beyond.

WHEN POLARIZED ON THE HUMAN LEVEL, beingsare joined to the forces of matter, thus becom-ing their instrument and weakening ties withthe inner world. But when living in accordancewith the Law, they unite with It and nothingexternal can dislodge them from this state.

ONE SHOULD FEAR NOTHING. Fear only existswhere the seeds of darkness can sprout. Rightliving, a conduct governed by inner instruction,leaves no room for the oppressive forces of fearto prevail. Even atavistic fear, that recurrentlyimpregnates the material bodies of all humanbeings is dissolved in this manner.

Fear is born when one is involved with theforces of matter and its illusions. On the innerplanes, consciousness is Light and Clarity. On those planes, Love is the molding energyand existence transcends the boundaries of

individuality. Thus, when one is connected withone’s own essence, there is nothing to fear.

LIFE DOES NOT REST; it goes on ceaselessly. Allare summoned to share in its eternal flow, butthe majority only watch it go by.

All are given mortar and bricks with which tobuild their Dwelling Place. May their careless-ness and inertia not allow the tempests todestroy this gift.

THE ENERGY OF LIS

THE TASK OF TURNING one’s consciousness tothe spirit must be carried out in a simple anddetached way. In previous cycles of the evolu-tion of the human race, many structures werecreated to guide this process and they mayhave rendered important service. However,because of the dynamic transition the planet isundergoing, the teachings and spiritual forma-tion that are limited to formulas, rules, exercis-es and rites will go on for only a short whilelonger. This present phase makes it impossiblefor one to remain imprisoned within rigid

forms. In this way, inner life, which is the fruit of True Essence, is more easily unveiled.

HIGHER ASPECTS OF CREATION are about tobecome manifest on the Earth. However, it isnecessary to deepen and absorb that whichwas already offered to humanity by the cosmos,and was neither understood nor accomplishedin the material world. To reach a state of high-er consciousness, the former state must be sur-passed.

DESPITE THE PRESENT EXTERNAL SITUATION of theplanet, one need not brand aspects of materiallife as impure or sinful, such as occured in theteachings of the past. The present development

of the mind already permits human beings toglimpse broader aspects of this life.

Matter, within certain limits, can express sub-lime things. When matter is receptive to innerenergy, it becomes malleable, and like moltengold it takes on the form of a jewel that beauti-fies the material world. Having expressed suchperfection, matter becomes united to the Ideathat gave rise to it, ascends to more subtle lev-els of vibration and becomes transfigured.

THE EXPRESSION OF SPIRITUAL CENTERS such asFatima, is an offering which, when duly accept-ed, will enable expansion of human conscious-ness and contact with the reality that sustainsplanetary and solar life. It is up to those whoawaken to these realities to allow themselves tobe transfigured by the Light present in these

centers, thus permiting the channel opened bythe Hierarchy to be broadened and perfected.

IN THE PAST when humankind was told to prayseven days and seven nights, this was not anexhortation to carry out formal worship. Sevendays and nights represent an entire cycle ofmanifestation. Therefore, humans were beingasked to pray without ceasing to live in totaldedication to the Supreme Being.

IN THESE TIMES, the importance of Fatima in therescue of beings and in their links to centersthat exist outside the solar system, is beingrevealed. On the whole, up to now this centerhas been known merely by the reflection of itsspiritual activities on the surface of the Earth.

These included the apparitions of the Virgin,* acosmic symbol also used by Christianity during the past two millennia. These appari-tions, occurring in the city of Fatima, are pro-jections from the intraterrestrial center of Lis, aswell as from extraterrestrial vessels responsiblefor radiating peace and hope to the environs ofthe Earth.

THE VIRGIN is one of the names given to theThird Divine Aspect,* also called the UniversalMother, Divine Mother, Akasha, primordialChaos, and others. Furthermore, the idea ofthe existence of an immaculate virginal energy,a concept that is present in the most diversereligions of the world, is related to the ether,which the ancients claimed to be the divinesubstance that permeates the entire universe.

During their time on the Earth, some celestialbeings who were incarnate in human form,incorporated attributes and principles of thisCosmic Energy or Third Divine Aspect. ThisEnergy is a universal mediating agent which,when contacted by human beings, makes itpossible for them to enter into other states ofconsciousness that would otherwise be inac-cessible. The projections by cosmic energy onthe subtle planes as the image of the Virginhave been used to stimulate and help theunpretentious and innocent to endure the pres-ent times of tribulation.

IN APPARITIONS KNOWN THE WORLD OVER, the figure of the Virgin is used to connect humanbeings to the state of original purity of matter.This happens not only because this figure holdsthe secret of the manifestation of the inner cen-ters of the planet, but also because she is a

symbol that came to be understood by the peo-ple immersed in material density and who needto connect to the spirit. ALL ARE GIVEN the possibility of perceiving theinner presence. But those who awaken and canreceive higher impulses are given the responsi-bility of being a Light on the earthly pathways,

TO ATTAIN REALITY, one must wholeheartedlyembrace the Path of the Unknown and mustproceed in faith without knowing what thefuture holds in store. An entity is a nucleus of intelligent ener-gy that is polarized on the supra-human levels. It encompasses groups and civiliza-tions, as well as tasks and sectors of thePlan of Evolution. It is formed by con-sciousnesses gathered around a specificgoal.

Fifth Race

The Fifth Race is the current phase in the

evolution of humanity. It is characterized by

the mental maturation of the human being

who, by the time of the acme of this phase,

should have reached the level of intuitive

consciousness and glimpsed monadic life,

the cosmic life.

Hierarchy

A Hierarchy is a consciousness or an aggre-gation of consciousnesses that have tran-scended material evolution. They are thepropelling sources of the evolution of thecosmos. A large part of the Hierarchy activeon the Earth is focused on the spiritual anddivine levels and works to integrate the plan-et into a higher solar and galactic order.

Judgment

The selection that takes place within aspecies, a kingdom of nature, or an entireplanet, in order to attune their vibrations tothose of a new cycle. Judgment is a processof healthy purification and is necessary toprovide the outset of this new cycle with astable base.

Lemuria

A large continent that, in very remote times,existed in the region now corresponding tothe Indian Ocean, Oceania, part of Africaand other areas. During the Lemurian timeshumanity developed its physical-ethericbody.

Planetary Conscious Self

The part of planetary life that is conscious ofself. Among the kingdoms of nature, thehuman kingdom represents the evolutionarystep of acquiring and developing the capac-ity of self recognition.

Rescuable Being

A being who has the possibility of enteringinto the vibrational patterns of the new Earth

and who can undergo the process of evolu-tion called “rescue.”

Rescue Operation

The program of restoration of the equilibri-um of the energy of the Earth. It is com-manded and carried out by extraterrestrialconsciousnesses of an elevated evolutionarystate, to place the planet into rhythms thatare attuned to the harmony of the cosmos.This involves the removal of beings thatshould not suffer the impact of the acutechaos that will take place on the surface ofthe Earth. It includes the conveyance ofthose who in the next cycle will continuetheir journey in other parts of the cosmos, tolocations that may be more or less evolvedthan the Earth.
