Join The Center and 125 of the county’s top restaurants, bars, coffeehouses and nightclubs who understand that supporting the fifth annual Dining Out for Life® is a win for all!

In April 2010, The Center hosted the fourth annual Dining Out for Life® San Diego…

• 100 restaurants and bars from 25 neighborhoods raised more than $120,000 by donating a minimum of 25% of the day’s sales to The Center’s HIV/AIDS service and prevention programs

• An estimated 17,000 dined out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails and more to support HIV/AIDS programming at The Center

• Buzz for the event included support from the following: Subaru of North America, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Smirnoff, Star94.1, Hillcrest Business Association, Gaslamp Quarter Association, City Beat, DiscoverSD.com, KPBS, San Diego Gay & Lesbian News (SDGLN), San Diego News Now (SDNN), FalwLes, San Diego Pix, Rage Monthly, Open Table, Where2Eat.com, Yelp and Dining Out Magazine!

The strategy and goal are simple: with the support of The Center’s donors, volunteers and staff – accompanied by your in-house promotion and support – we will significantly increase the number of diners coming to your restaurant on Thursday, April 29, 2010.

Additionally, your restaurant will be assigned a volunteer Ambassador. They in turn invite everyone they know to dine at your location during their shift on Thursday, April 28.

Your Commitment:

1. Donate a minimum of 25% of food and beverage sales (including liquor) on Thursday, April 28, 2011 to The Center's HIV/AIDS services.

2. Promote your participation in Dining Out for Life® the month of April using our professionally designed posters, table tents, check stuffers, and bar coasters. (Materials are provided by Dining Out for Life San Diego).

Enclosed you will find more detailed information regarding Dining Out for Life® 2011. To sign up your restaurant or bar, simply visit us at www.diningoutforlife.com/sandiego and click the "Register Your Bar or Restaurant Today!" link located at the top of the page.
