Democracy is a political government carried out either directly by the people direct democracy or by means of elected representatives of the people.

According to constitution , India is a "sovereign socialist secular democratic republic

“It means a way of life which recognises liberty, equality and fraternity as the principles of life.”

India is the 2nd largest country in the world, which will not be able to control or manage under a dictatorship setup

We lived in a dictatorship over 200 years under British rule till 1947.So we are clear about its bad effects..

Word Dictator is losing ground today and can be seen through some live examples like muharraf (Pakistan), fidel castro (Cuba) and saddam hussein(Iraq) who were strong dictator once and are no one in these days ..

Stability of a nation closely relate to its foreign policy. A dictatorship rule can’t maintain these policies

It may lead to unrest and conflict among people and politicians Citizen of the nation will not have the power to choose their

representative to address their problem and one dictator would not be able address issue at different parts of the country

Which Setup is pertinent for India ??

Which Setup is pertinent for ?? I strongly believe that India have to remain as a democratic

country and can be one of the super power in near future India has shown their power in recent time were no nation

survived from financial crisis Well being of common man can only be assured in a

democratic setup
