ABSTRACTNearly 1.5 million children are living with and being raised
by their grandparents. The AARP Grandparent Information Center met with fivegroups of children in the spring of 1996 to gather their thoughts andquotations on what it feels like to live with their grandparents. Fifteendrawings were also selected for inclusion. The children's quotations andpictures are presented in these sections: (1) "What Grandchildren Have to Sayabout Living with My Grandparents"; (2) "Things That Make Me Happy in theMorning"; (3) "The People Who Love Me"; (4) "Trust and Trusting"; (5)
