Abstract

The attached document represents an IEEE 802 based submission to ITU-R working party 5A in response to their liaison to IEEE 802 received in May of 2010. This is a combination of 802.11 and 802.15 working group submissions.

Background• ITU-R Working party 5A (WP 5A) at its May 2010

meeting initiated the development of a Report and a Recommendation on Multiple Gigabit Wireless Systems (MGWS) operating around 60 GHz

• The IEEE received a liaison statement from the ITU-R soliciting input for the development of this Report and Recommendation

• TGad proposed an IEEE 802.11 response to the ITU-R liaison

• This document updates that response to include representation of IEEE Std 802.15.3c-2009 in order to create a response representing all interested parties in IEEE 802.
