Back in the days of Noah, our God promised:
“As long as the earth endures, seed time and harvest,
cold and heat, summer and winter,
day and night will never cease.” Genesis 8:22
WELCOME: In this fall season of the year, when the last of
the leaves are still on the trees and we anticipate the first snow
flakes of the season, we take comfort in God’s promise that He
will faithfully give seed time and harvest without fail.
We warmly welcome each of our guests today. May our
compassionate God provide for you and your loved ones as
you look to Him for grace in this season. We invite you to join
us in the Fellowship Hall following our morning service for
refreshments and fellowship.
Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher in the foyer during the
offering this morning for Children’s Church.
Adult Bible Study TONIGHT following the evening service.
We’ll be going over Lesson 2.
ABOUT OUR MESSAGES
This morning (‘Press On Together’ – A Series in Philippians)
we look at Philippians 1:12-20. Paul, the author of
Philippians, has had a series of injustices come his way, and
wants to reassure this church that what happened to him is less
important than what God is doing with him. Still today, it is a
model for your own reaction “When Life Happens to You.”
In our evening worship (‘Where Are You Going?’ – A Study of
the End Times), we move from your own personal future to
the future of everything. Tonight, we begin examining the
return of Christ. Are there events or signs to look for which
show Jesus is returning? We’ll listen to Jesus’ ‘Olivet
Discourse’ in Matthew 24:1-25 along with 2 Thessalonians
2:1-12, showing the signs of “Christ’s Advance and Anti-
Christs.”
PRAYERS AND PRAISES
Thank you for continuing to pray for Sarah. Although she
has made progress in wound healing, doctors recently
discovered new or ongoing bone infection. She still live at
the Armour Nursing Home. ~Darrel & Mary Kraayenbrink
Thank you for everyone who came out and helped put
together college boxes and for those who donated items. We
appreciate your help! ~Fun & Fellowship Committee
Membership Changes:
This past week, the church council gratefully received the
membership transfer of Lance, Kristi and Kaiden
Beltman from Prairie Edge CRC in Portage, Michigan. Lance
and Kristi have returned to this area after living here
previously, and were also recently blessed with the birth of a
baby girl, Tenley. We welcome the Beltman’s into our
fellowship, pray for their continued growth in knowing,
imitating and sharing Christ, and rejoice in God’s gift of a new
baby girl!
Our council has sent the membership of Rachel Dohrenwend
(Van Vuren) to Central Church, in Sioux Falls, SD. We are
grateful that Rachel has found a new church home nearby!
Please pray for her continued growth in the knowledge and
grace of Jesus Christ.

ABOUT OUR OFFERINGS
This week, our offerings will be for World Hunger, through
World Renew. Families living in poverty face many barriers.
Lack of access to clean water, healthcare, and resources to
generate income keep families in a cycle of poverty and
hunger that impacts generation after generation. Through your
congregation’s participation in World Hunger Sunday those
facing hunger and poverty are encouraged to learn ways to
improve their lives and write a new story that is filled with
hope and promise. World Renew will use your gifts to combat
poverty, disaster, and injustice around the world in Jesus’
name. https://worldrenew.net/worldhunger
Next week, our offerings are for Dakota Christian School.
