4:00 pm Mass Entrance I Could Sing of Your Love Forever 1. Over the mountains and the sea Your river runs with love for me, and I will open up my heart, and let the Healer set me free. I'm happy to be in the truth, and I will daily li my hands, for I will always sing of when Your love came down, yeah. Refrain I could sing of Your love forever,

I could sing of Your love forever, I could sing of Your love forever, I could sing of Your love forever. Bridge Oh, I feel like dancing; it's foolishness, I know. But when the world has seen the light, they will dance with joy like we're dancing now. By: M. Smith © 1994. All rights reserved. Used by permission. CCLI License #11201196. Song #1043199.

Offertory How Can I Keep From Singing 1. My life flows on in endless song Above earth's lamenta on. I hear the real though far‐off hymn That hails a new crea on. Refrain No storm can shake my inmost calm, While to that rock I'm clinging. Since love is Lord of heaven and earth, How can I keep from singing? 2. Through all the tumult and the strife, I hear that music ringing; It sounds and echoes in my soul;

How can I keep from singing? 3. What, though my joys and comfort die, The Lord, my savior liveth. What though the darkness gather 'round? Songs in the night it giveth. 4. The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart, A fountain ever springing. All things are mine since I am his; How can I keep from singing? By: R. Lowry © Public Domain. Used by permission.

Flowing out into the desert, se ng all the cap ves free. 4. Hope is flowing like a river, flowing out of you and me. Flowing out into the desert, se ng all the cap ves free. 5. Family Prayer

L oving and faithful God, through the years the people of our archdi-ocese have appreciated the pray-

ers and love of Our Lady of Prompt Suc-cor in times of war, disaster, epidemic and illness. We come to you, Father, with Mary our Mother, and ask you to help us in the battle of today against violence, murder and racism.

We implore you to give us your wisdom that we may build a community founded on the values of Jesus, which gives re-spect to the life and dignity of all people.

Bless parents that they may form their children in faith. Bless and protect our youth that they may be peacemakers of our time. Give consolation to those who have lost loved ones through violence.

Hear our prayer and give us the persever-ance to be a voice for life and human dignity in our community.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help us.

Mother Henriette Delille, pray for us that we may be a holy family.

Glory and praise to our God, who alone gives light to our days. Many are the blessings he bears to those who trust in his ways. 1. We, the daughters and sons of him who built the valleys and plains, praise the wonders our God has done in ev’ry heart that sings. 2. In his wisdom he strengthens us, like gold that’s tested in fire. Though the power of sin prevails, our God is there to save. 3. Ev’ry moment of ev’ry day our God is wai ng to save, always ready to seek the lost, to answer those who pray. By: D. Schu e © 1976.

THE VISITATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst. (Zephaniah 3:16) Is it possible for us to imagine the level of joy experienced by Mary and Elizabeth at the moment of their meeting? Elizabeth receiving the divine inspiration that her cousin Mary was the long-promised Messiah carrying in her womb, and Mary who could now share this world-changing miracle with someone she could trust? Someone who had received this information from the Holy Spirit himself? What a mar-velous scene for contemplation. Mary, dearest Mother, speak in our souls through your Di-vine Spouse the Holy Spirit, words of inspiration, words of wonder, so that we too can draw close and be present in that moment when Christ first proclaimed His presence among us. Alleluia! Alleluia!

In today's Gospel (JN 14:23-29), Jesus talks to his disciples about the word of God. He says, "Whoever loves me will keep my word," (JN 14:23). As a LIFE TEEN author says, "We demon-strate our love by keeping God’s word." At LIFE TEEN and Edge we study God's word, allowing it to dwell within us. We help each other to demon-strate our love for all. Join us tonight for a fun, social life night of trivia.

¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!
