Hello Division 27!

The end of the school year is fast ap-

proaching, and everyone is breaking

out the shorts and sunglasses. Howev-

er, between the excitement of visiting

the beach and sipping on those Star-

bucks Frappuccinos, don’t forget

about the opportunities for service

that Key Club provides!

This month, the district board has

put together a few rallies in our area

to kick off the summer . Be sure to at-

tend to receive some officer training,

celebrate service, and to gain some

ideas of what you can do during the

summer and the upcoming school

year!

I wish you all luck on your finals

and last few weeks of school, and

hopefully I’ll see all of you at the June

DCM!

With love and service,

Ashley Yoo

Redmond High School does a great job at being involved in

various areas of the community. While they helped the com-

munity in the Just Gardens Project, they also partner with the

Honor Society to provide tutoring to the students in their very

school. In addition, they go out to work with younger stu-

dents as well, providing homework help to low-income fami-

lies. In addition, they display a great mix of long-term and

one-time projects. Thus, Redmond High School was chosen

as this month’s club spotlight.

MNT is a deadly disease that causes painful con-vulsions and extremely high sensitivity. To eliminate MNT for good, more than 100 mil-lion mothers and babies must be immunized, costing an estimated $110 million. Our goal is to completely eliminate MNT from the world by the year 2015.
