With a wide clear span and capabilities for a load-bearing roof , the 3” Aluminum Post System is great for corrosive or wet environments as well as FDA regulated food processing plants.

Preassembled buildings are available in custom sizes up to 8 feet wide by 20 feet long. Inplant Offices’ exclusive cement board panels with 3” aluminum studs provide excellent insulation and are impervious to moisture.

SPECIFICATIONS

Wall Panels: Panels will be either 1-1/2” or 3” thick with hardboard, gypsum or other surface material on both sides. The core material is expanded polystyrene. Panels are easily removable without dis-turbing adjacent panels, roof decking or acoustical ceiling, and are interchangeable with either door or window panels. Standard panels are 44-7/8” x 96” unless otherwise indicated on factory drawings

Wiring Posts: Wiring posts are either 20ga or 16 ga painted steel or 6063T-5 aluminum extrusions with a satin anodized finish. In addition to supporting the struc-ture, all posts act as wiring chases and have friction fit (steel posts) or snap on (aluminum) cover plates to allow easy access for electrical and telecommunica-tions wiring. Three piece wiring posts allow the entire system to be Non-Progressive in design.

Electrical: Lighting consists of 160Watt 2x4 lay-in energy-saving T-8 fixtures with an acrylic lens. Single pole and 3-way switches, as well as duplex and other outlets are provided in accordance with a standard layout. Standard circuit breaker panels consist of 100A panels with 70A main breakers. Individual breakers are 15A. Quantity of breakers are sized depending on the electrical needs of the building. Electrical wiring, conduit, and light bulbs are furnished by others.

Roof Deck: Roof deck will be painted 22 ga. corrugated B-deck, 1-1/2” deep and cut to length for easy installation.

Doors: Standard doors are pre-hung 3070 (3’ wide x 7’ tall) x 1-3/4” thick insulated 20ga. painted steel. Standard hardware includes hinges, sweep, and a key-in-knob locket. Lever locks and panic exit hardware are available. Consult factory.

Acoustical ceiling: Ceiling is acoustical grid type with white metal grid, hangar wire, and 5/8” thick 2x4 lay-in fiber board tiles.

Glass: Standard glass is 1/4” thick tempered safety glass pre-installed in anodized aluminum frames. Standard glass dimensions are 37” tall by full panel width. Custom glass sizes and alternate material, such as acrylic or polycarbonate, are available. Consult factory.

Track and base: Floor track is formed 24ga. steel. Ceiling cap is 20 ga. steel painted to match wall surface and wiring post color. Vinyl base molding to conceal the floor track is included along the inte-rior and exterior of every wall panel in-cluding outside corners.

STANDARD COLOR SELECTION

We offer 3 standard colors of vinyl covered panels which are neutral for a wide variety of settings, and durable to stand up to your environment. Custom colors are available with painted gypsum and painted steel.

PANEL SURFACE OPTIONS

Vinyl Covered Hardboard: Our most economical solution. 1/8” thick hardboard clad in 6mil vinyl. Available in both 1-3/4” and 3” office systems

Vinyl Covered Gypsum: Also known as our Noise Control/Non-combustible Panel. 1/2” thick gypsum clad in 6mil vinyl. UL rated class 1 non-combustible means this option meets building codes if your project requires a building permit.

Painted Gypsum: Another version of the Noise Control/Non-combustible Panel. 1/2” thick gypsum is painted the color of your choice. This solution is great for custom colors or matching company colors.

Painted Steel: Our most durable surface option! 24ga. steel is painted the color of your choice and laminated either directly to the core material or to 1/2” gypsum for added noise control.

FRP: Fiberglass reinforced plastic is our maintenance free solution!. Durable and water-proof, this option will handle any environment and is available in a variety of colors.

Cement Board: Painted 3/8” thick concrete board is extremely durable and weather resistant. When your project is outdoors, this is the answer.

ACCESSORIES AND OTHER OPTIONS

Doors and Windows: For access and functionality Inplant Offices offers special doors and windows. From high-speed roll-up doors, swing doors, and sliding doors to sliding windows, tinted or wire glass, and acrylic or polycarbonate glass. Our options make your office work for you.

Security: We offer bullet and blast resistant construction, along with the ability to fully integrate with security cameras, access control doors, and more. It’s a big issue these days, and Inplant Offices can tackle it.
