To: Elementary Public and Private School Heads Science Coordinators and Advisers

1. In reference to Division Memorandum No. 19, s. 2015, the District of Lumban Kalayaan, in cooperation with the Science Educators Assosciation of Laguna (SEAL) and Elementary Principal Science Coordinators Association, will conduct the District Level Science Congress for Elementary Level (Public/ Private) on September 4, 2015 at San Juan Central School, Kalayaan, Laguna.

2. The objectives of the competition are as follows: a. To promote academic excellence in science through camaraderie and sportsmanship.b. To select the best district contestant for the division level.

3. The expected participants are the contestants from public and private schools who will join the district level elimination on the above date and venue. 3.1 Science Quiz

Pupils Top 1 contestant per school per grade level Teachers 1 in any grade level per school

3.2 Sci- Dama Pupils Top 2 contestants per school per grade level Teachers Top 2 contestants per school per grade level

3.3 Impromtu Speaking Top 1 contestant per school 3.4 Essay Writing (English) Top 1 contestant per school 3.5 Poster Making Contest

Sci-Art Top 1 contestant per school 3.6 Sci- Jingle 6 participants per school 3.7 Robotics Individual per school 3.8 Science Action Research

Teacher 1 teacher participant per school 3.9 Innovative Instructional Materials for the NAT Least learned Skills

Teacher 1 teacher participant per school 3.10 Sci-Folio 1 MT participant per school 3.11 Video Production using 1 teacher participant per school

4. Travel and other expenses incidental to their participation shall be charged against local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. Immediate dissemination of the memorandum is desired.
