An environmentally sustainable surface

The life of your floor is from the top of the board to the top

of the tongue (top layer).

When it comes to solid

timber being 19mm, 2/3

of this timber will never

be used and is wasted.

Barrington ConstructionBarrington comes with a Lifetime Structural Warranty due to the stable construction of our high grade multi-ply core, this allows for minimal movement when exposed to environmental changes such as moisture or heat. The timber surface comes with a 4mm timber top layer which allows for many years of resurfacing.

Environmentally FriendlyThe timbers we harvest are from managed forests where old growth forests are left free to stand. Engineered flooring is a wonderful manufacturing process where our natural resources are saved with our 4mm top layer process.

Why does our Barrington Range appeal to so many people?

Grown in Australian Timber ForestsOur Barrington timber range is harvested from managed Australian timber forests which are located 3 hours from Newcastle on the Barrington Tops near Gloucester NSW. This beautiful part of Australia is where we find timbers Like New England Blackbutt, Stringybark, Blue Gum and Brushbox while the traditional feel and look of Jarrah comes from W.A. Cutting down the mature treeOnly when the tree has reached its maturity, this then will ensure the finest timber for our Barrington Range. Our team of professional lumberjacks cut under the strict guidance of the NSW forestry harvesting plan. The logs are felled ready for transport, whilst leaving

the forest environment under authorised controlled conditions for new growth to take place for future logging. Manufactured and TreatedNow the tree is taken to our manufacturing facility where a 12 months process takes place until we reach the finished product. A wide variety of production and treatment techniques will be performed under our strict quality control system. Different timber species require different drying processes, this is due to the different genetic properties of each species. Barrington’s Lifetime Structural Warranty & 20 Year Wear Warranty are a reflection of the whole manufacturing process. Once these precision manufacturing requirements are met the finished product is carefully packed ready for delivery.

Timber is a natural product, so colour variations between products should be expected, giving you a unique look.

The final colour of your flooring may not be evident until after your floor has been installed.Over the next 12 months your floor will oxidise with light, causing a chemical reaction with the tannins in the timber. This generally will allow the floor to darken over time.
