Wooden Stair Steps

Stairs can be a center point in the

interior design. What we see more and

more is that a wooden floor will be connect in

the design together with the looks of the stairs.

Often, the same wood and coating design is chosen

for the wooden floors as well the stairs. Than in the same

line one can choose also a perfect contrast to enhance the look

of the stairs.

In principle there are 4 components as a base to build stair steps:

Engineered Wood Floor

Solid wood floors or engineered wood flooring. The

trend these days goes very strong towards engineered

wood flooring. The reason is that the engineered

flooring version is:

1. Much more stable than solid wood. Less bending and deformation of wood.

2 Due to saving expensive wood, the price is lower.

3. A higher stability makes it possible to produce in a range of width: 20-33cm wide.

Why engineered wood flooring?

We have to analyses solid flooring to understand the principle of engineered flooring.

As we study a board, we can divide this into the area above the tongue and groove. In

fact, when we send down a solid piece of floor we cannot sand more down than around

2mm above the joints. If we sand more deep, the joints will break and the floor is

spoiled. At the left side, we see a solid piece of wood being divided into 2 sections:

1.   A top layer    2.   A construction part.

Engineered Oak Wood Flooring

Engineered oak wood flooring comes with many options. Engineered oak wood floors are

one of the most request wooden floors these days. Under you will see the different

possibilities that will lead you trough engineered oak wood flooring. We hope you will find

are one of the most popular wooden floors there

days. Arrow Wood produces them in many varieties

en show you in our block, on this page, what

different products you can choose from. Without

over estimate, we can make easy more than 200

designs with all the options. We produce solid oak

floors and engineered oak floors. We produce

European oak wood floors and American oak Wood

wood flooring in engineered and solid. Stand still by the fact that engineered oak wood

floor boards can also be used.

White Maple Hardwood Flooring

This wood is medium plus hard and is a wood that is a little harder than oak timber. It is

white as it’s original color and has a soft and very elegant grain. White Maple

Engineered Hardwood Flooring has no visible sap wood.

White Maple flooring.

White maple as wood species is harder than European oak wood. It is a delicate wood

that is harvest from the maple tree in the areas of Canada and North America.

The maple tree is cut in strips and the real white ones are separate from the white with

brown ones. You can imagine that one harvest less white than mix color wood and that

is why it make white maple wooden floors expensive.

As we produce white maple wooden floors in the engineered version, it is quite less

expensive compared with the solid maple timber but within the scope of engineered

white maple wooden floor it has a higher value than an oak floor.

The grain of white maple is very typical, the curly move of the grain and its

slender appearance and the white background makes is a rich kind

of wood with a very exclusive appearance.
