We operate and strive to promote research climate at the institution level.
Special endeavours were put by IQAC for developing linkages with research funding from the regional office of
UGC.
Research profile of the college was prepared by IQAC through its Research & Extension Committee.
Guidance was provided to the staff for sending MRP proposals to UGC.
The most of the research work is in full swing and IQAC has taken initiative for creating awareness among the
members of the teaching staff for attending conferences/seminars/workshops/Training etc. on current scenario of
research activities in various subjects, and present the research papers.

The college is affiliated to Rastrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Nagpur . So the
curriculum prescribed by the University for All the Programmes is followed by the college. However,
the course curriculum is designed for the Career oriented Add-on courses.
Faculties are provided with all essential facilities for effective teaching

A workshop was conducted for the members of non-teaching staff about ultra- modern ways
of E-filling and its implication.
The principal of the college gives direction to the non-teaching staff to enhance their
efficiency by conducting meetings with them regularly.

NSS-Adoption of the Village, Mohadi (Dhotra) for carrying various social activities.
Impact- Various extension activities were carried out.
Teaching –Learning- Introduction to the use of the various digital devices in the class rooms
Impact- More effective learning of the respective subjects.
Out –door Job Oriented Guidance-Guidance for Police and Military training is given by NCC
department.
Impact- Many students were recruited in the outdoor jobs.
Student Code of Conduct- It has been included in the prospect of the college to inculcate the
discipline among the students which is a goal of the Institution.
Impact- The goal of the institution was reflected in this activity after the strict implementation of it.
The college has reaped the sweet fruit of it. The discipline was maintained in the premises of the
college and the presence of the students in the classes was enhanced. This activity marked a great
regard for the staff.
Health check up camp: The health-check up camp was conducted on 26/01/16 to render free
medical facilities to poor and needy people of Narkhed Taluka.
Impact- Many poor and needy turned up to the camp and availed the free medical facilities. They
resorted to the best medical advice of the qualified medical staff and it helped them to get fixed the
medical and health problems.
Rain water harvesting project –The college has initiated its maiden modified project for water
harvesting.
Impact- flower, ornamental and medicinal plants are watered adequately.
Display of Mural Magazine (MOHOR) – the college has started a displaying literary works created
by students.
Impact- Many students have started writing poems and articles.
Literary activities among the students were enhanced.
The beautification of campus by planting sapling.
Rain water harvesting.

Rain water harvesting unit is in function. It accumulates water in the well from entire parking.
NSS, NCC and other student units organize cleanliness programmes for the college campus and
Rishishwar lake and Gayatri Temple of Narkhed town.

Best Practice –I
Free Medical Health Check Up Camp
A free medical check-up camp was organized by the collage in collaboration with Lata
Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur on 26/10/2016.
The objective of the camp was to provide information regarding diet, exercise and weight
control. Free medical facilities have been provided to subjects who were diagnosed with
different health problems and advised them to follow up with their local doctors or public health
centers or with one of GHE- affiliated doctors. Follow up has been done with those subjects who
have been diagnosed.
Patient health data was collected for on large scale.
The poor patients were benefited.

Best Practice –II
Rain Water Harvesting
The college concentrates in Green Education and has been promoting environmental and
eco-friendly mentality within the students. While working, larger and more desires a goal of
sustainable development and energy conservation. As the measures for sustainality, the Rain
Water Harvesting Project was initiated within college premise by the college.
There is only one Rain Water harvesting Mechanism around the well of the college,
situated nearby the garden. This Rain Water Harvesting Project harvests rain water and provides
it to main garden plants. This project has proven to be of great value and conservation vastly
towards the conversation and finite resources, assisting to achieve the goal of ultimate
sustainability projects. Currently operating in our college.
