Our storyStarting from humble origins, Natural Retreats have gone on to become a market-leading provider of luxury holiday homes.

We have been delivering incredible places to stay in beautiful and secluded locations across the world since we opened our first set of panoramic sliding doors back in 2006.

The seed of Natural Retreats was planted many moons ago, over 4,000 miles away in Yellowstone National Park, USA, where Matt Spence, our founder, enjoyed many a holiday with his folks, living hand-in-hand with breathtaking, idyllic locations. The effect was so profound that when the opportunity arose to grow that seed on his family farm in the Yorkshire Dales, Natural Retreats was born.

We thought long and hard about what makes up the Natural Retreats ethos, and how we could implement this into ownership. Right at the heart of everything we do lies the desire to bring you awe-inspiring scenes of natural beauty, without trading levels of luxury.
