From Dulles Airport (Leesburg, Ashburn, VA) – or‐ Braddock Road WEST of Campus 

Exit the airport onto the Dulles Access Road, which leads to the Dulles Toll Road Route 267. Follow 

Route 267 East and Exit the Dulles Toll Road (no toll required) onto Exit 11 ‐ Fairfax County Parkway 

(Route 7100). 

Exit the Parkway at Braddock Road. Stay to the left, then turn left on Braddock Road. 

Follow until you see North Hill Drive on your right. Pass North Hill Drive then immediately merge 

into the two left lanes ahead. 

Take next left at traffic light onto Ox Road. 

Take first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

Hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

From the Capital Beltway (I‐495) and Braddock Road EAST of Campus 

Take exit 54, Braddock Road (Route 620) West. 

Follow Braddock Road for approximately six miles. 

Pass the first entrance to the university, and take the second right onto Ox Road. 

Take the first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

The hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

 

From I‐95 (North and South) 

From points north on I‐95: 

Take exit 27 (I‐495 West), then follow the directions “From 

the Capital Beltway (I‐495).” 

 

From points south on I‐95: 

Take exit 160B (Route 123 North). 

Follow Route 123 for approximately 15 miles to Braddock Road. 

Cross over Braddock Road continuing on Route 123 North. 

Take first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

Hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

From Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) NORTH of campus (Tysons Corner, Vienna) 

Follow Chain Bridge Road south through the City of Fairfax. 

As you begin to approach campus, you will pass the Fairfax County Judicial Center on your right. 

Pass School Street and merge into the left hand lanes when available. 

Turn left onto University Drive (this is the entrance to the GMU campus). 

Take the first right at Occoquan River Lane. 

Turn right at the stop sign onto Patriot Circle. 

At the roundabout go 1/4 around the circle and turn right on Mason Pond Drive. 

Entrance to the hotel will be ahead on your left. 

 

From 50W (from Washington DC, Arlington) 

Take Route 50 West to I‐495 South (Capital Beltway) toward Richmond. 

Take exit 54, Braddock Road (Route 620) West. 

Follow Braddock Road for approximately six miles. 

Pass the first entrance to the university, and take the second right onto Ox Road. 

Take the first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

The hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

 

I‐66W from Washington, D.C., or Arlington 

**Please be advised that between 4:00pm and 6:30pm Monday‐Friday, 66W is HOV‐2 restricted 

 

Take exit 60 at Route 123 South, Chain Bridge Road. 

Follow Route 123 through the City of Fairfax, and turn left at University Drive. 

Take the first right at Occoquan River Lane. 

Turn right at the stop sign onto Patriot Circle.

I‐66E from Front Royal (west of Fairfax County Parkway) 

Take exit 55, the Fairfax County Parkway South (Route 7100). 

Exit the park way at Braddock Road. Stay to the left, and turn left on Braddock Road. 

Follow until you see North Hill Drive on your right. Pass North Hill Drive then immediately merge 

into the two left lanes ahead. 

Take next left at traffic light onto Ox Road. 

Take first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

Hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

 

From Braddock Road WEST of campus: 

Follow Braddock Road until you see North Hill Drive on your right. Pass North Hill Drive then 

immediately merge into the two left lanes ahead. 

Take next left at traffic light onto Ox Road. 

Take first right onto Mason Pond Drive. 

Hotel entrance will be the first driveway on the right. 

 

From Braddock Road EAST of campus: 

Follow Braddock Road and pass the first entrance to the university. 

Take the second right onto Ox Road. 

Take the first right onto Mason Pond Drive.

Parking  

Parking is complimentary for all Mason Inn overnight and day guests.  Please follow the directions 

below when parking at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel. 

 

Overnight Guests:  Once you arrive at The Mason Inn our front drive way will be on your right. Pull 

into the drive way and check in/unload your bags. Once you check in, your guest room key will give 

you access to the parking lot and elevators. When you pull out of the front drive way you will make a 

left and you will see the parking lots on your right. Insert your guest room key at the gate arm and 

the arm will go up. As a guest you can park in the paved lot or in the covered parking. Inside the 

covered lot, to the far left of the garage there is an elevator that will give you access to the 1st floor 

which is the main lobby, and your guest room floor. 

 

Day Guest: Once you arrive at The Mason Inn our front drive way will be on your right, drive pass 

the driveway and you will see the parking lots on your right. Pull up to the gate arm and there is a 

button you can press, the button goes to our front desk. Once the front desk answers, state which 

group you are here for and they will buzz you in, which will raise the gate arm. As a guest you can 

park in the paved lot or in the covered parking. Inside the covered lot, to the far left of the garage 

there is an elevator that will give you access to the 1st floor which is the main lobby. 

 

Note: Parking on campus is an extra expense to GMU students and faculty/staff. Although The 

Mason Inn is located on campus, parking is complimentary to our guests, which is why our parking 

lot is gated. The Mason Inn employee lot is located behind the gated lot and all employees have 

parking pass for this lot. GMU Police patrol this lot and will ticket any cars that do not have the 

correct parking pass.  If the gated lot is full, all guests will need to park in The Mason Inn Parking 

Deck, this parking deck is an additional cost and The Mason Inn will not validate parking.  

 

*If you are GMU faculty/staff, you are allowed access to our lot if you attending an event at 

The Mason Inn, please follow the day guest instructions above.

In conjunction with the university shuttle service the following shuttles will be available to all guest 

of The Mason Inn.  Mason to Metro Shuttles provides service from the Fairfax Campus, with a stop 

with a stop at the Commerce Bldg, to the Vienna Metro Station.  To access the Mason to Metro Shuttle
