ustralian Institute of Learning is proud to announce 100% Government funding towards a Diploma of Management under the Skilling Australia for the Future traineeship program.

The eligibility is quite simply you need to be employed part time or fulltime with no Diploma or higher qualification. You qualify even if you have a CERT III or CERT IV, could have been completed as soon as last week.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting.

Completing the program will enable participants to:

Understand the role of a manager and be more effective team leaders

Contribute proactively and innovatively to the business

Be effective planners‟ consistently reaching goals

Develop an effective team-oriented environment

Achieve greater profits and strategic outcomes

Candidates will be issued an Australian Nationally Recognised Training qualification on meeting the minimum competency standards. The course is competency based and does include formal examinations.

Why Diploma of Management?

The changing workplace has led to the development of a significantly different role for

Managers and their teams. There is a move away from the traditional skills of the supervisor

controlling, directing and maintaining discipline, to the team leader being responsible for

coaching, facilitating and developing team cohesion within a strategic framework

This program provides the core leadership competencies required by contemporary

managers. It can also be an excellent induction unit for newly promoted staff, as well as a

valuable resource for the more experienced manager.

Delivered in small group for maximum delivery benefits and enhanced learning.

Delivery Methods

This program is delivered in a group session off-the-job at our high tech facility in Robina. It contains face-to-face training and practical sessions involving small groups and individual activities. For each unit, candidates are provided with training manuals, which includes materials used in the training sessions, assessment materials and reference materials.

The delivery of the course is classroom based, face-to-face training which includes:

• Establishing a training environment using a range of equipment to simulate a business environment.

Within the assessment of the units, learners are required to participate in simulated activities that closely reflect workplace processes and unexpected or contingency related activities

• Practice exercises that reinforce the required interpersonal skills for individual and group work.

• Simulated training activities in the classroom involving individuals, pairs and small group activities.

• Learner activity workbooks to support training independent reading and research projects. In addition we include networking and team building activities.

In addition to scheduled classroom based assessment, learners may be required to complete assessment activities in their personal time and bring it to their next class for discussion, oral presentation etc. These assessment activities include:

• Knowledge quizzes

• Research exercises where learners learn and are assessed through project-based activities.

Delivery times:

1 night every 3 weeks. Total of 8 nights tuition. Course will be completed in 4-6 months.

About us AIOL is a registered training organisation offering Nationally Recognised Training. RTO 32309. Australian Institute of Learning operates from Gold Coast, Australia. Our facilities are high tech with electronic whiteboards, high spec 17 inch Dell laptops, and spacious air conditioned training facilities. Our trainers are highly skilled individuals with multiple qualifications and wealth of industry experience. All trainers hold the qualification they are teaching including Cert IV in Training and Assessment. Our Training Manager who facilitates this course holds a Bachelor Degree and a Masters Degree as well as numerous other qualifications. We are committed to professional development and all trainers attend multiple management seminars and boot camps. Traineeship Information

Eligibility: To be eligible for a traineeship and receive government funding, the client needs to:

Be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or a New Zealand passport holder who has been a resident in Australia for at least 6 months

Be employed on either a full-time or part time basis (casual employees not eligible), or employed on an Australian School based basis

Be of „working age‟ (this generally means at least 15 years of age)

Not have completed prior qualifications at Diploma or higher

We initially confirm the above details with the client (could be via employer or via potential trainee), and then send the name and date of birth (via email) to AAC. The AAC (Australian Apprenticeship Centre) runs a check on a national database and sends back the eligibility advice. Note, AAC‟s can‟t „confirm‟ client is eligible/employer will definitely receive benefits, as there can be abnormalities – e.g., change of name etc. – that mean the client is not eligible, these not found until the contract goes to Canberra. This is very rare though. New worker = been employed for less than 3 months full-time, or if part time/casual, been employed for less than 12 months. Existing worker = been employed full-time for longer than 3 months (one year if they employed on a part-time or casual basis) Please complete the Eligibility form at the end of this handbook and submit to us to confirm eligibility.

Government Incentives The government funding payable to the employer totals $4,000 and consists of:

Commencement incentive: $1,500 (payable 90 days after sign-up) Completion incentive: $2,500 (paid on completion of the qualification)

In most cases the training can be completed within 4 months. The first payment by the Government is 90 days and the balance is payable on completion. All invoices by AIOL to be settled in 7 days.
