In light of the turmoil surrounding the torch relay overseas,
a mass MSN Love China signature campaign broke outonline. The campaign was initiated by netizens to showboth their support of the Beijing Olympics and support forChina.
People's Daily: 7 million MSN users joined the Love China initiative
In May of 2008, Toyota and MSN jointly launched a rainbow signature initiative on MSN. For each rainbow signatureadded to a screen name, MSN and Toyota each donated 0.1RMB to the earthquake relief.
As of June 2nd, 6,216,469 MSN messaging usersparticipated in the campaign, raising a total of 1,243,293.80RMB for the earthquake victims.
