The Ladybug Transistor story begins in Brooklyn, NY during the mid-1990's.Their debut album was a recording project based around founding member GaryOlson's collaborations with friends. Around 1997 they evolved into a properband with siblings Jennifer and Jeff Baron, Sasha Bell, San Fadyl and JuliaRydholm. This collective crafted the trilogy of The Albemarle Sound, Argyle Heirand The Ladybug Transistor, on which they developed their trademark sound - adistillation of classic pop, characterized by a precise melodicism that is an-chored by the restrained baritone of Olson.

The Dodos are an American indie rock band consisting of Meric Long and LoganKroeber. They are known for using an alternate instrumental approach. Kroeberplays on a drum kit without a bass drum, playing often on the rims of the drums,and also uses a tambourine taped to his shoe. During live performances theyhave a third member playing a vibraphone, a drum and two cymbals placed oneach other (like a hihat). Meric Long plays mainly acoustic and semi-acousticguitars during performances, but he also owns a Springtime and a Tafelbergdrum guitar built by Yuri Landman.

This ensemble was founded in 1983 by Rev. Milton Biggham, the lead vocalistand songwriter for the group. He put together the group from over 600 appli-cants, and recorded with them on his label Savoy Records in the middle of thedecade. In 1996 the ensemble appeared in the Whitney Houston movie
and performed at the 1996 Olympic Games. The choir has alsoreceived a Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Award.

Attic Lights are an indie rock band from Glasgow, formed in 2005 by Kevin Sherry(vocals, guitar), Colin McArdle (vocals, bass) and Jamie Houston (guitar, key-board, vocals), later joined by Tim Davidson (guitar, pedal steel) and NoelO'Donnell (drums, glockenspiel, vocals).
